Blockchain Technology is on its way to embrace all spheres of life. Almost every IRL aspect is slowly becoming integrated into the CryptoSpace via blockchain technology.

Even email services have found its way to the Web3 scene. With respect to Web3 Emailing, Ethermail stands as one of the trailblazers, the project leverages on blockchain technology to enhance P2P communication between users. This sounds really interesting.

Personally, twas really exciting to come across this project, I'll love to hear what y'all feel about a Web3 based emailing service. I'll be in the comments.

I've heard of Ethermail months ago and since this is using the blockchain technology to our advantage then it also caught my attention though I still have to open an account with it as I am more of a Gmail user. I might be giving this a chance since I can already see Gmail service to now be a highly monetized one and I am getting 0% revenue of the ads shown to me plus I don't have any control over what can be shown to me. According to its site: "Gone are the days of cluttered inboxes and irrelevant ads. EtherMail is pioneering a new era of email marketing — one that respects your privacy and values your time. Our unique platform empowers users to control what they see and earn from promotional content. We're flipping the script, offering a win-win for both users and advertisers." And I find it refreshing and good enough. Hope they can be able to promote the service and many would adopt the same...the more the better. Now, with its respect for privacy and freedom, I am hoping that they would not have any problem with the government later.

It's still quite difficult to abandon traditional Gmail and Outlook emails
But I've used Dmail a lot https://dmail.ai/
It's also an email service available on several networks, I think there are more than 20, and the cost is very low
You can send an e-mail to a traditional address or to an EVM address (I think it also accepts other addresses such as Solana, but I haven't tested it yet)

These seem like big numbers for a service I've never heard of before and couldn't find any results on Google:
Then what is the benefit of having all your conversations spread across blocks and not being able to be deleted, even if they are encrypted, perhaps in the future trust in encryption will be discovered, or what is the wisdom of paying high fees for a messaging service that you can find available in cheaper and more secure ways.

The fee for sending e-mails over networks is very low
It may be interesting for you to receive emails via your EVM address, or even to log in without a password, just with your wallet
I've used it a lot to stay active on some networks, each e-mail generates a tx, so it can be useful in some cases

Is the transaction broadcast and recorded in the blockchain? Is it recorded in encrypted form or can you see it with any block explorer or do you need to use an app to see the message?
The fees will be the same as the transaction fees but messages can be sent for free on many services.
