What kind of new ideas do they offer? Staking or earning tokens is not really new, and I fail to see how it works to monetize an artwork. Why not just trade your art directly? I don't think you can replicate an art gallery or something similar just because you use blockchain to print your drawing. For me, these kinds of ideas seem forced and the goal is just to get money for the sake of it, not solving anything urgent for an artist at all.
