Gundogan finding a way to his former club for free charge is a loss for Barcelona and a gain for Manchester City. No two ways about it. Barcelona had lost a good midfielder given to them for free, who won the treble trophy with Manchester City.

I don't know for how long the Barcelona team's finances will stay on the low not to enable them to retain and sign quality and experienced players to help the team challenge Real Madrid for the Laliga League trophy. Why is Gundegon returning to Manchester city for free? That is a big question that needs to be answered. Could it be that last season Barcelona only signed him for one season because of his age? If so, he is a free agent and there's nothing Barcelona can do about it. Immediately a player becomes a free agent, they have the right to wherever they want to go for whatever salary.
