Imo, the choice of the word "anonymize" is worse than "clean".
Moreover, I agree with @NAT's opinion above, from an authority PoV you are still in the wrong position with those two words. Want to disguise your dirty coins and/or want to avoid taxes.

I'm in the same situation. I don't know if it is due to maintenance or not, but the clearnet website also gives me a 504 error and the Tor website does not load. Maybe @icopress has more information about what is happening.

Yeah I'm also seeing the same thing while trying to access the clearnet website but every other things are working perfectly so I believe it should be the site maintenance because if we can recall, it was the same display we were actually having few days ago on the clearnet website and it didn't take them much time to rectify it, so perhaps I think there could be things that may not be working properly the way they had expected so they decided to fixed it but I'm very hopeful it will not take them much time to rectify.

The word anonymize or clean would mean the same thing for the regulators, but i understand what @examplens is talking about when they say 'clean' dirty BTC's may not sound right to some bitcoiners, because there are no 'dirty' BTC's. However, i don't think the change is so necessary, just as you and someone else have said already.

In my opinion, I think it is important to fix this, because I have implemented verification functionality on my website, but it's broken for RoyalMix because of this bug. However I do not want to burden the RoyalMix admins with more work after telling them about a bunch of stuff a few posts above.

Anonymizing coins would also make those AML fighters think that the money is illegal money although you the purpose or aim of doing it is to make it more hard to track (being anonymous or private) although the money you have ain't even a dirty money to start with. That's why I completely agree that clean and anonymize have the same meaning in AML terminology.

Developers should know what fixes to prioritize. Fixing their guarantee letter generator is more critical than fixing web interface that only displays Russian for a few milliseconds. Holding a valid guarantee letter is also very valuable if there is some risk of technical service errors.

I hope they don't have any serious flaws in their system that could result in customers losing coins.
Using cold wallets is usually a good practice together with hot wallets for smaller amounts.
