It's very unfortunate that they will do a rug pull like this, they are still trying to built their "reputation". But I guess they have other plans to trick and scam people for as low as 2 BTC.

So sad that the people behind RoyalMix.io allowed this thing to happened. Well, maybe they don't want to do business in this "industry" anymore and decided to just go somewhere never mind if there can be some left as victims of their actions. I just learned this thing while in the crypto industry for years: trust is something that we must not easily give away to any platform that wants to do business with us...we have to make sure that we ae dealing with something with great reputation and will not hang the very people who are doing business with them. Still, am hoping that things will be back to where they were so that evereybody can be happy.

I can confirm that the letter of guarantee is valid and that the funds were received at the RoyalMix address but were not returned.

I actually had high hopes for them due to the way they were actively working and fixing bugs pointed out by forum members in their system.

Just getting to know about this, so sorry boss for what ever the Royalmix actions or inactions must have cost you as a loss, I don't know but losing to clients, or losing a good client can be very hurtful, but all the same, we usually have no choice but to put what has happened behind and move on, specially when we know that there are better opportunities ahead.

I don't know how long this mixer has been online, but I guess it's not quite or that long, so possibly there are not a lot of victims, or no victims at all aside from the boss (icopress), so this can be a reason why there are or may possibly be no scam accusation against them anywhere else.

User thejyu claimed to have 2BTC stuck with them. It is not a small amount, even if it is the only one, it is still too much. There is no justification or extenuating circumstances. Things like this only make it harder for other new services to gain trust.

I prepared design material for Frogmixer to launch the campaign, but at the last moment they refused to make a deposit on any forum, asked for a refund and disappeared.

I don't want to rub salt in anyone's wound, but for such a large amount I would be extra careful, which means I would use at least a few mixers and divide the amount evenly. That way I would make sure that I can't lose everything in one place. Yes, it would mean that you will pay fees several times, but even that is better than throwing 2 BTC to the wind.

Let's wait and see what will happen, maybe this really is an ordinary exit scam, and maybe the owner is just in big trouble and had to destroy everything and keep quiet for a while.

If anyone is in touch with @Klq!@Gjqoqp./ they might be able to help especially since they have proven many vulnerabilities in the service.


Also how does Escrow XSS work? Isn't there supposed to be a +3 week delay before any refund request?

We should be very careful with any mixer mixer that pops up in future, and we should check out the code for smilarities.
There is a chance this scammers will try to repeat the same thing with new domain and different design.

Yes, they even started in bitcointalk forum as a fake testnet mixer and they later moved to this forum.

Although there's no guarantee that old mixers will become scam it should be recommended to use old mixers than the new one especially for such high amount. Testing new mixers with small amount is okay but i wouldn't use them amounting more than 0.1 BTC unless they build reputation and at least more than 1 year operating their service.
