I saw that Royalmix campaign was paused, I didn't actually know why untill I stumbled on this topic. It is sad and seems that it's just a few people behind the scene scamming and creating new mixers after rug pulling with another.

Site is offline, email support didn't work, looks like my ~2btc is gone forever

Sounds like a good option, but it cannot be a compulsory action, campaign managers can suggest it to their clients, and if they like the idea, then it is very cool, especially if they are looking to escrow some of their funds for transparency and trust. I don't think the admin will have a problem if all their conditions of escrow is met.

I agree that is the only way to avoid scam mixers they need to escrow a big amount with managers and the offered service should have a limit they can only mix below the escrowed amount so that once the mixers have a problem with the stuck transaction or it becomes scam then manager can use escrow amount to pay affected clients.

Right now, it's really hard to find a mixer just like a legit chipmixer before who stayed for many years.

30 days without incident. They were allowed to withdraw the main deposit on August 8.

They requested a withdrawal on another forum a few days ago (+30 days). The user who lost the bitcoins allowed to send a letter of guarantee to the admin of another forum to suspend their withdrawal. The letter was sent (I have not received a response yet).

And as far as I can remember, maybe around the 2018 time frame when we have a new mixer is place, the first thing we asked about them is to escrow funds to at least show their 'legitimacy'. However, I can't remember if this is still the norm or the practice ever since.

In this case 30 days is a short amount of time as they were able to withdraw their escrows because there are no untoward incidents. But everyone was caught off-guard when they suddenly went offline and scam someone.

This is not the only forum where mixers are presented. For now, we are satisfied with their contribution if they start a signature campaign. The condition that they also leave a significant deposit in escrow may dissuade them from the idea of ​​being present at all.

Campaign managers are usually the escrows for their own campaigns since they act as a Middle men between the client and the campaign participants, and last I checked, we have quite a number of really good and highly trustworthy campaign managers even on this forum.

The need for an escrow can only be needed when and if the client is launching a campaign that he or she is the manager, or maybe the client brought in a complete new person to manage their campaign, then they definitely well need an external escrow in the forum who would securely hold the funds to be distributed or payed to users/participants of the campaign whenever payment is due.

It seems like a good idea but has the forum reached the stage of convincing them to deposit 1 bitcoin or 0.5 bitcoin?
Also, scammers are getting smarter, I remember a few years ago a similar thing happened where a mixer deposited an amount in escrow and withdrew it.


The best thing to say is don't rush to mix your coins, if you want to mix 2 bitcoins, do it based on 0.2 bitcoins

It sounds like a good idea but problem is that it's hard to set amount of coins that should be deposited in escrow service.
Some scam mixers could deposit 1 or 2 bitcoins but still exist scam if someone tries to mix larger amount of coins.
As long as their are in profit they can always do it.

I think they claimed to share the similar code with RoyalMix and they are the one who identified some suspicious changes.
It would be good to hear more from them.
