Kucoin dey frustrate me like this. I sent USDT to Bybit and I didn't include the memo tag so di coins go stuck and I have contacted Bybit and they have send me all the necessary information to refund the money and now the coins are in the custody of kucoin. They also told me that the coins are with them and I will pay $40 to redeem the coins and I told them to proceed yet, they have have not sent me the refund link to process the case. What do you say about this. You can see what they said in the below quote

Na tru but you need to be careful with people you follow chats and remember admin can never pm you fit rather you are the one to pm them to attend to your case, if they refused to then you keep posting untill they reply you directly and solve your problems, when you made mentioned of fee I was shocked to see that exchange is changing you additional fees to help process your withdrawal you mistakenly sent to their address with wrong address. Even though the coin is in their custody they aren't meant to charge you separately.

The charges I think is not the problem. The thing to worry about is the genuity of the source if it is a legit source or not. It is normal if the exchange charge for fee to help OP recover his funds because from the looks OP is at for not following through the transfer procedure to input a memo. I believe that is the reason why they charged OP for the time, work and inconvenience OP put them through but my own concern is the charges. It is on the high side and for OP to give them approval to continue with the process them the asset must be of good value and as such needs to be recovered.

I don finally got the money back but I paid di request amount by the Kucoin exchange but ByBit refund the coins to Kucoin without taking anything so why Kucoin collected such big amount for the refund? Really I was not well pleased with di amount but what would I do I have to pay to collect my money back. Oh before I forget, many people were even asking to know how was di total coins dat got stuck. Na just 144.0488 USDT. So I finally collect only 104.0488.

It is nice you received your coin back and this shows that you were dealing with the right source but I am still curious and wondering why they would demand such an amount from you as a customer who had traded with them for a long time. It is not making any sense irrespective of the fact that you made a mistake. I think the fee should have been minimal because the transaction is still within the same exchange so why then would they give you such a bill just to give you back what is already in their custody and what is even annoying me is that the other exchange did not charge you for it but kucoin did.

If you go fit, write to them and express your disappoint in their actions. Citing the reason being that bybit no charge you anything and them return funds to them without much time wasted but them wey the funds dey with and still within the same exchange and e come be say you be their customer dem come get mind charge you exorbitantly. E no make sense na, e for good make you pass dem charge and see how them go respond and if them no gree, tell dem say you don forget about them for that actions.

Because of their activeness in the live chat, he thought they are much more better than ByBit because bitcoin has no live chat agent but only bot and filling of form but upon all that ByBit is more faster than Kucoin.

Once you follow the instructions, then everything will be very fast and easy. It was Kucoin gave him tough time for the refund request as he said But he thank God that the issue was resolved.
