Do New Users Still Get Rewards for Registering on CEX?

Back when I first created an account on CEX, I received some freebies after completing a few tasks and trades. Recently, a newbie who knew crypto through Notcoin asked me if CEX still offers rewards for new users. I didn't Google it because I thought I could get more direct info here from users' experiences. Can anyone share??

The only free rewards you get from some exchange is ref bonus and the person most complete kyc and trade at least 50$ in their platform before you would received from them, some of them na to join trading competition, when you join competition and you meet the requirements then you will get some rewards in usdt or in the currency you joined their trading competitions.
For signing up on the exchange, this mostly happened with exchange that are launching newly they may give some airdrops to the earliest people to compensate them.

bitget is luring users to register and deposit which i think if you deposit certain amount you get $200. i couldn't be sure whether $50 or 200.  i don't see centralized exchanges that are launching so far. the DEXes are airdropping native tokens, this is likely the way they reward those who uses them. this is not how they entice users to register on them anymore.

my government was planning to ban binance and its p2p, so users from my country are trying to find place where they could sell BTC for cash and find themselves registering to new exchanges. thus i found out bitget have this reward.

For me I think is totally depends on the particular CEX because in as much as most of them are giving some particular amount of dollar to there new users others CEX may not actually do the same thing, however nowadays is very difficult for a CEX to give free bonus to new users because they are already popular so perhaps the only CEX that can offer that now are mostly the new exchanges and for security reasons going into such exchanges may not be advisable because it will surely involve your personal information.

Though in another perspective I don't think people should consider the bonus before joining a CEX because even you are being giving the bonus it will not be much, sometimes most exchanges offers some cent while some $1 which you could even find it very difficult to withdraw, so anyone that consider the the free bonus before registering may actually not be ready.

they are still giving those bonus but those bonuses are useless so I don't normally mind them. A lastest CEX I signed up last month or there about is still sending me emails that should claim my gift before it expired. And sometimes these bonuses are not even up to $0.0001 sef so there is no need for me to both myself because dat nonsense. So I always ignore them. But if it is the freebies they are still giving.

The only rewards I know that some newbies are allowed or privileged to get while those that have been using the exchange for sometime are not allowed to are some airdrops tasks I know that for some Bybit users most new accounts tend to get more of this offer than those that have been using the app for some time - that’s the only one I know of.

Asking question like this in this thread will surely lead to the derailment of the main aim of this thread - it would be better to just focus on the topic in the Op and probably ask this question in a different thread that’s related to it.

There are still reward on centralized exchanges. The one that I opened recently like 1 or 2 months ago is Bitget and I still saw the rewards to claim. These is common on exchanges. But do not be surprised if you are unable to claim many of the rewards. Or maybe it is how I am thinking of it. On Bitget I got zero reward because it requires extra task as usual like other exchanges, but which I did not even read anything nyo to talk of doing any task.

As for the falling price of bitcoin, some people even buy more at lower price. The market is kind of too boring now unlike 2020. But I still believe bitcoin can go $100000 before bear market.

Some of these airdrops that exchange offers are trading competition when traders qualify then they share some amount of token set for the competition and you must fund the trading account to meet their requirements, other do give airdrops according to your holdings. For this you must have the balance requirements for the airdrop some of the fix specific token balance to reflect the airdrop.

I never profited any registry bonus in any of the Centralized exchanges which I have been using but then when I had my first CEX, I was told to register and verify my account to qualify for bonus which I did but to no avail of the bonus.
To me, I will advice not to chase after CEX offering registration bonus because they would either have alternative to get it back without your notice, it could be by their trading fees or otherwise. Probably strictly just to attract users to their platform.
Must reputable CEX does not have such time to tease you by free bonus just to adopt their platform.

Most times they are not the ones doing it but that project - if you take Bybit as an example here, you’ll see that they offer that bonus to both newbies and old users if it was something that they the casino organized themselves they would make it exclusively for newbies and not for both parties.

I’ll not advise anyone not to chase after bonuses the only thing I’d advice them is to be careful not to become to absorbed in chasing the bonuses that they’ll fall into a scam - if you know it’s not something you can do then leave it don’t force yourself to do it.

Truly CEX do conduct airdrops of that nature and there are laid down procedures that must be followed before one is eligible for such airdrop. I have not attempted any before because the procedures are somewhat stressful and a matter of fact, most of them are not worth it while some are just peanut but the CEX would be at advantage because you have fulfilled their task which is of great benefit to them and you would still be left to pay transaction fees on the exchange for any transaction you do on their platform.

OK, you must count yourself lucky then, because for me, I've registered on almost all existing crypto exchanges, both the popular and unpopular ones, and none of them has ever given me any freebies, bonus for simply join the exchange, though I usually do see or come across some bonus offer advertisements designed and targeted at new users, but being a kind of self sufficient person, I've usually never and did not pay any attention to such offers, neither have I ever bothered about completing any tasks.

So, this is my own personal experience, and I am not in any way generalizing; for I know that other users may have completely different experience and opinion.
