Anyone watching Copa America live?
United States has a red card against Panama and it is going to be harder for them to win than odds suggested but they scored first goal anyway.
Uruguay is playing later against Bolivia and they are one of the biggest favorites to win this competition.
Cavani has retired but Uruguay but they have other great players and some of them play for US clubs.

I feel like Panama was playing dirty and aggressive in todays match vs USA. I don't think that USA was expected to win the game, but some pretty rough play by Panama made it really hard for the USA to build any momentum.

And USA played right into their hands after going down to 10 men very early into the game, they then had to become more conservative and employ a damage control tactics, it didn't turn out well for them at the end of the day. The biggest task await in the final group game against Uruguay who won convincingly against Bolivia 5-0 today. USA are in tough spot now because, Panama would be expected to get all 3 points against Bolivia and should USA then fail to win, they'll be eliminated. That'd be quite a bummer because I had high hopes for them coming into this tournament.

Without a doubt, the Ecuadorians have a better game than Jamaica, even if the match had ended differently, but the truth is that Jamaica is a good team, in fact in Concacaf they have always had interesting disputes with the United States and Mexico, the star teams of that confederation.

It was a result that was a coin toss, it did not surprise me, in fact at the betting level I opted for the tie and at the Pool level I put Vzla.

Their chances could also probably have been higher, if just like the the Euros 2024 there were slots for the best placed 3rd teams, however for the Copa America there is no such thing, they'd be heading directly to the Quarter Finals right after the groups stages. Maybe all hope isn't lost just yet, there is still pretty much a lot that can happen.

This was a lucky win for Panama against USA and I could not believe hoe they managed to turn around result in second half.
Both teams got ref cards and Panama is now going to be without their best player, but they are playing next against one of the worst teams in Copa America.
Maybe now we see new sensation from Bolivia

I feel like Panama was playing dirty and aggressive in todays match vs USA. I don't think that USA was expected to win the game, but some pretty rough play by Panama made it really hard for the USA to build any momentum.

Dirty and aggressive football is a normal thing in these Copa competition to anyone who watches them regularly. You will even notice this aggression from south American players when they play in other leagues.

Brazil tunneled past Paraguay scoring four goals and Vini Jr having two of the four. Brazil are second in the group and will face the group leaders Colombia next in a bid to see who finishes the group D in a more favorable position theoretically.

Venezuela is the biggest surprise for me in this year Copa America.
They are top of their group B and they are above Ecuador and Mexico with three wins and only one conceded goal.
I think they have good chance against Canada but home supporters will big advantage for Canada.

Uruguay is one of the best teams in this Copa America so they could not expect much better result, but I think USA missed their chance against Panama after getting early red card.
They can try again in FIFA World Cup 2026, they are one of the host countries with Canada and Mexico.

I would agree that Brazil are way far from being a good team right now, not even the top 3 best team in the Copa America right now, and Vinicius Jr. suspension will only make things tougher for them, but it still Brazil we are talk about and they just can't be underestimated or undermined because they are still pretty much capable of winning any game against any team.
