Quite unfortunate for Uruguay because despite finishing at top of their group they will be facing one of the toughest teams in the competition, Brazil, I don't think they'd love to face Brazil, at least not as the first team in the knockout stages, but Brazil couldn't win against Columbia so they finished 2nd place in the group and as such would have place against Uruguay in the quarter finals, maybe it's an advantage for Uruguay though, since Brazil aren't playing the best football just yet, if they can face them now rather than when Brazil find their best form.
I dont think this Brazil is the best team in Copa America, they didnt play very good in most matches, and they are now going to miss Vinicius against Uruguay.
Last year Uruguay won in H2H World Cup qualifications and I think they can eliminate Brazil if they continue playing good and don't get scared from Brazil.
Anything can happen in this match but my bet is on Uruguay to go in next stage.
Your bet played out fine, and Uruguay has qualified for the next round all because they won Brazil in a shootout 4-2 despite the red card given to their player in the 74 minutes of play. Surprisingly, Brazil didn't use the red-given Uruguay as an advantage to score a single goal.

However, thumps up to Uruguay for holding Brazil to a drawing match of 120 minutes of play before the penalty shootout that gave them the winning 4-2 against Brazil

With Brazil being getting knocked out of the Copa America by Uruguay, could there be anything that’d stop Argentina from winning this year Copa America again ? I mean if I’m really not mistaken, that'd make it their 4th consecutive competition triumph including World Cup and Inter Continental cup they won against Italy the last time.
I think Urugay or Colombia can stop Argentina, they both played very good in this Copa America and they have the quality to do it.
Last year for World Cup qualification Uruguay was better than Argentina and they won in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Messi is not in his prime form now but I am not counting him off that easy.

The Brazil national team is a big disappointment in this competition because they were unable to go far as expected by their fans due to poor performance from the beginning of the competition till they got kicked out yesterday by Uruguay in a penalty shootout. The game was too aggressive and very boring because both teams were not after playing a professional football but to play a rough football on the pitch. These current Brazil team is the worst that I have seen and thru need to wake up and put in good performance to keep the country football reputation. After Neymar left the national team, the team looks like shit.

If somebody had told me earlier that Brazil will not win this match I wouldn't have agreed because right from beginning of history of football Brazil has always been known to be one of the best country in terms of football performance but it was quite unfortunate that they were not actually consistent on that match which reduces there chances of wining Uruguay.

Though I'm not actually saying that Uruguay is not a strong team but my point is that Brazil has more than enough experience players to win the match, however I seriously commend on the performance of Uruguay because is not easy to have a Red card and was still able to manage and draw the match, actually I can imagine the kind of happiness they would have by qualifying for another round.

Arg 3 - Can 0
Uru 1 - Col 1: penalties 50/50
 :)
If it is Uruguay, it will be a very difficult game to predict, these teams risk their skin in those matches.

If it is Colombia, I would say that the Argentina factor weighs a lot, Colombians suffer whenever they play against Argentina.

What I can deduct from football matches of late is that the dominance of big teams we know in football is beginning to reduce, and we can have them lose in any match.

Brazil was the defending champion of Copa America and they gave a disappointing performance in this year's Copa America. Many people are blaming the coach for it because they think, he's too old to coach and manage the Brazilian team. I don't know how true can this be, whether it is the case for the Brazilian football authority to look into, a change of coach

I will never blame the coach. Because a coach can never improve a player's field performance. I'm not denying that a coach has important  role to play in a team but players must give their best to help the team win. In recent times, I have not seen anyone in the Brazil team that the team can rely on to ensure victory for the team. The fact that former champions Brazil did not win against Colombia and Uruguay may seem unbelievable to many fans, but it is true. No big team can hold its position all the time and Brazil's performance at the moment is showing that.

Yeah, I would quite agree Colombia indeed look like the best team that can actually stop Argentina right, especially with James Rodriguez turning back the hands of time and playing like he's at the peak of his career, he's played 4 matches in the tournament and have already won the Player Of The Match (POTM) award on 3 occasions, nothing has been short of a spectacular performance so far from him in this tournament.

There is something to highlight, Brazil lacked to prove itself
The Brazilian team needs to take their very next game very seriously because Argentina almost lost their game today to Ecuador, who took the game to extra time with a late equalizer, and it means that Brazil can also lose to Uruguay if they do not play with the pressure from the beginning of the game.

Lionel Messi missed the first penalty for Argentina, but luckily, Argentina still won.

Well, this is getting better, Brazil was eliminated by the Charrúas, today they have to face Canada, who for me will have to go that far, there is no other way, of course sometimes unexpected things happen in football, but it is very very likely that Argentina will win.

@LUCKMCFLY How did you experience that defeat in your area? I know you are from a very football-loving area, that result is a shame, but I believe on the other hand, that Colombia has shown how the teams big they beat those teams with dubious play, 5 goals to zero, Hey Argentina, be careful...waiting to:Uruguay Brazil, a great game...but Uruguay wins...

Well, what can I say my great friend, there were many tears of a man (including myself) however, what matters and I Believe the only Objective is that Venezuela manages to qualify for the World Cup, on the other hand, that same day I went to Colombia (Cúcuta) and that was something else, another world, the celebration was impressive, the 5 goals that they Conceded to Panamá was something that gave Colombia a lot of security , now against Uruguay is something else , it is one of the best Matches that are coming , unfortunately it is Tomorrow, today is Argentina against Canada.

Argentina have already taken the lead here in the first half through a goal from Julian Alvarez who showed a great awareness inside the box and was able to beat the Canadian goalkeeper.

It's going to be a mountain to climb now for Canada to even get back on level terms let alone being able to try and turn it around, but I guess we'll see if Argentina can further increase their advantage.

It was a one-sided game for a while, but Argentina scored a goal after 22 minutes.  It doesn't look like Canada can win the match as Argentina are a very good team and they have already conceded a goal.  Di Maria had a great chance to score but unfortunately it didn't happen.  Argentina is currently attacking Canada very well.  40 minutes passed but Canada still couldn't score.  But with the way Canada is attacking, it doesn't look like they can win the match.  Messi had a very good attack but no goal.  Again Messi gave a short but unfortunately it didn't actually score.  Current Canada also had a good scoring chance but they unfortunately couldn't score.  Playing like this has become funner but Canada has not scored a single goal.

Argentina scored another goal after 51 minutes.  Currently, Argentina has scored two goals and Canada has yet to score a single goal.  He got another ball and Alvarez made a good attack but unfortunately couldn't score.  Argentina had a total of 10 attacks but conceded two goals.  And Canada had a total of 4 attacks so far but unfortunately they couldn't score a single goal.  The way Canada is playing it doesn't look like they will win the match as their attack is very weak.  It's been almost 87 minutes and Canada still hasn't scored a goal.  And now Canada had a very good attack but Martinez saved the ball very well and Canada had another good attack but they didn't succeed.  And with that, Argentina beat Canada by 2 goals and went to the Copa America final.

The Messi goal was able guarantee Argentina their spot in the final, I think Canada should be heading out of the the tournament with their heads held up high because nobody would have expected them to come this, even a few people could have anticipated that they'd make it out of the group stage, especially since they played Argentina in their first group match and lost the game, I also thought was the beginning and the end of their journey in this tournament, so to have made it to the semi finals is literally some worth being proud as a team for them.

Argentina really put Canada under a lot of pressure with their attacking play today. Canada committed a total of 15 fouls in this match, while Argentina committed just 5 fouls. Canada piled on the pressure from Julian Alvarez's first goal on 23 minutes, and Lionel Messi added another goal on 51 minutes, to conform Argentina's victory. Canada attacked many times in this match but none of the attacks worked for them. The Canadian team could not survive in front of the great performance of every player in Argentina and the amazing goal keeping of Emiliano Martínez. And the Argentina team confirmed their position in the final by winning this match.

For my tastes Footballers, Canada lacked at least two goals to concede, I had them 4-0 in a Pool that I am playing, anyway ARG managed to qualify as expected.

I saw two plays by Messi that at any other time would not have failed, we are definitely seeing the last matches of this great footballer... I don't know if these remaining couple of years will give him another chance world cup (another topic=)

Uruguay-Colombia, is the great game of these semifinals, I don't bet on either of them, but I do have a prediction, be careful, two different things, so, a draw in regulation time, and I think that the luck of the penalties favors Uruguay .
