Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood said she intends to vote for former US president Donald Trump in the forthcoming November elections.

Wood revealed her intentions during an interview with financial analyst Kevin Paffrath during the weekend. She said: “I am going to vote for the person who’s going to do the best for our economy. I am a voter when it comes to economics. And on that basis, Trump.”

The Ark CEO further explained that her decision was influenced by economist Arthur Laffer’s description of the first three years of the Trump presidency “as the best in US economic history.”

Wood is the latest major figure from the crypto industry to publicly endorse Trump. The former President has adopted a more favorable stance toward crypto in recent months and pledged to support the industry and end the Biden administration’s “war on crypto” if elected.

As more and more wealthy influencers are getting into the Donald Trump camp and leaving behind the dementia-filled administration and candidacy of Joe Biden, I am seeing a snowball effect going on right now and this must be happening especially in the cryptocurrency industry within USA. As November 5 is getting near, we would see more endorsements coming from people who really have money to spare as DJT is now having the upper hand in the political donation game. Maybe the time has come for many famous figures in the cryptocurrency industry to get out and raise the hand of Donald J, Trump to be the winner in November and be inaugurated in January. I am calling in people who had been prosecuted by SEC and other regulatory agencies under Biden to help defeat this enemy of the cryptocurrency industry. Note: this is just my personal opinion and I apologized if I am hurting the feeling of some sensitive and woke Biden supporters.

I do not think that her speech has anything to do with Trump’s recent statements. I looked into her previous political statements and I can quote.

I'm very sure that such statements can increase the votes of the Donald Trump, her alone vote doesn't matter that much but with her that statement she has influenced many others to vote for Donald Trump.

In this coming election I expect Donald Trump to win because majority or almost 90% of crypto community of United States is in support of Donald Trump and if that support continues then his chance of winning the election is going to be high.

I think it's somewhat satirical how crazy people have become with the idea that Trump must become the new president at all costs, because that way honey and milk will flow through the US and probably the whole world as it did when he was president. Trump is a big liar and manipulator who should be behind bars because of everything he has done, but some people on this forum are starting to present him as some kind of crypto messiah who will enable everything the crypto community wants.

Caties just want more money in their account, just like the twins and most of the others who don't care who the president is if it means they can do whatever they want. I think that many will be scratching their heads when T starts to start trade wars again and when he makes moves that he will certainly not mention in his campaign.

He is not fighting any battle for the American people, but for his own survival, considering all the accusations against him.

It is obvious that the promises of a crypto paradise that will emerge after Trump takes his chair at Casa Blanca are having a very good effect on the crypto community - and not only those in the US, but everywhere in the world.

That is your title right there, its not really a shocker and while there are of course some people who do not support Trump while still working in the finance world, he was the president that went the softest towards the establishment. His campaign was filled with "drain the swamp" chants when he was just a nominee, but then he just turned around and gave all the billionaires tax credits and brakes, so he IS the establishment. So someone like Cathie Wood saying Trump is alright? Would be the most normal thing in the world.

My personal opinion about Trump is that he is a political failure, but he is economically successful. Being a successful businessman, he knows the value of the American economy and manages it well, but politically he has greatly harmed the United States and brought it many problems through his policy based on blackmailing all countries, especially rich countries such as the Gulf countries and others.

It is true that Trump is a deceiver and a liar, and I do not have much confidence in his statements, but economically he is successful and I believe that most economic influencers will vote for him. I can see why some people seeking for validation from government, especially legal status about owning cryptocurrency and using it as payment method. But in this case, they clearly ask far more than validation, where they want government interfere on cryptocurrency development and usage.

Probably because they are "programmed" to such an extent that they need the approval of their government for everything they do in life. If we look at how susceptible people are to what the government suggests to them, then it is much clearer why a relatively small percentage of people in the world use BTC in one way or another.

People will rather invest in government bonds or treasury bills that have an interest rate of approximately 3-4% per year than in something that the government constantly promotes as an extremely risky investment.

Not a US citizen so be chill from my side 😅😅 I also think trump is the best choice as he is really adopting crypto into his own favor lately. He is raising funds via his NFT collection and other campaigns and so far he raised a good amount for upcoming elections. So yeah considering the benefit he is getting from this sector he will definitely support it later as well.

Once the big influencers will step into the field openly and claim their support for Trump publically, more people will follow them and we will see a trend of electing Trump on X. As these influencers did make a great affect on there followers and these followers surely follow there influencers instincts.

Trump does not care about BTC or the crypto industry, Trump only cares about winning the election that is forthcoming, and if he will score a few points by deceiving gullible crypto users that he is a 'crypto guy', then he is surely going to do it. If you are choosing either of the candidates, it should never be because you feel the one you chose would support BTC, find another reason.
