When is the bull run?

Begining of the year they were excitement in the crypto space about bull run probably starting Q2 of 2024. I actually believed and thought we'd see some greens especially after halving probably I'm wrong. But we've been nothing except for lows upon lows. I'm curious though. When is the bull run happening? Pls educate me if I'm wrong..

Even me I was thinking that immediately after halving there would be a serious bull Run in the market, though I have not really monitor it from the previous seasons halving to really understand how it works in other to have an insight on the particular moment it was supposed to start but however we shouldn't dwell on the bull market because when the right time comes we will see the impact on the market when everywhere will be filled with green.

Although if somebody would have told me that by now the bull market has not started I wouldn't have believe because before this time there has been so much speculation from different areas that before this month bull market had already started but right now it seems reversal has been the case, which is the reason why I don't listen too much on speculation, however the good thing is that even if nobody knows the actual moment the bull market will start but is very certain that it will surely come so perhaps for those who are not sufficient enough on there investment this is actually the time to prepare themselves against the upcoming bull market.

When i first got into crypto i only invested on people word and lost so much that time, so that’s why i was stayed away from investing for a few years. So you should use your research to make the best investment and not follow people run. We may be close to a bull run but that is uncertain so you should buy and save good tokens as preparation. If we looked back at the chart from all the halving phases of Bitcoin you will see that right after or before the halving there is huge dump before the price will explode. What we see in the market right now might be the temporary bearish momentum of the price before it goes up. Don't listen to people without evidence, you should learn to research on your own to verify if their words are truth.

You know your historical data. I posit that we'll see sideways movement till November or December. I may be wrong though..

The market is not in good condition and if someone is saying that prices will go higher or lower then they don't have any guarantee but they are sharing their views. Halving does not show immediate response therefore keep calm because due to halving the price does not smoothly grow but we must experience a deep dump before reaching to all the time high worth.

One cannot tell you that when the bull season will initiate therefore keep going with the market fluctuations and don't be upset due to current market conditions because all coins will shortly turn green after this dump.

I think we have gone passed 2024 bull run when bitcoin went above $70k and at that time many missed out because they were not prepared for that market turn up, although have some institutions and country that saw their bitcoin balance above their buy in price which was excitement for them but I don't think any of them sold their bitcoin holdings take about micro strategy or El Salvador among companies and countries that buoght bitcoin were below the last bitcoin all time high price.

Although the year is not over yet and we should expect anything to happen both in up trend and down trend direction.

That's true, but it doesn't fully answer the core question of this topic, because I'm sure the OP is asking more about a bullrun that hasn't happened yet and hopes for accurate analysis results from people here to inform the next bullrun. We all live in uncertainty here, even if you are someone who is an expert at making predictions, that still doesn't guarantee that something will always happen as predicted.

It's messed up everything isn't it, first time that we have seen the market going on a early bull run pre-halving, when we are used to seeing that the market going on parabolic rise after the halving. So there could be that we will see new patterns and it will not follow the previous one. And then we have the Mt. Gox payment being released this month, so it's a cluster f**k and everything was not in order and so the market is chaos up to this point. Going as low as $54,000 when we are expecting that somewhat we should be around $70,000++.

But that is the beauty of it, we never knows how the market is going, everything is a mystery and it will only unravel itself when we get there. So it's either we stay in the market or there could be some quitting for now because they don't like what they see. But for the majority of us, this is just another test and we should be just accumulating as much as we can if the market is down.

Unfortunately, Q3 is usually a downtrend, asking about bullrun when bitcoin was in 60k~ish is something only impatient people could think. Q2 always end up for good but as always but always for Q3 then, you will see bitcoin will go back in track usually in Q4.

Returning to historical data may be useful, and in both 2019 and 2014 Q3 was very bad, so if this happens again, I think we will be waiting for 3 months of decline, and if it does not happen again, we will be at levels close to 60k.

In short, nobody knows for sure. Some member provide good answer such as looking past data, but there's good reason why statement "Past Performance Is No a Guarantee of Future Results" sometimes mentioned on economic and speculation discussion.

Indeed, although speculations and hypes may be one of the major drives of the crypto market, but that doesn't mean that all speculations and hypes or even investors' sentiments about a particular investment option are always accurate, sometimes sentiments and hypes could be for the sole purpose of promoting a particular project but that doesn't necessarily guarantee the authenticity of that project, the project could still be shit project about yet receiving extraordinary hypes, and that's why it's always important to DYOR before investing on anything, crypto or not, and not to always depend on speculations and hypes in order to avoid incurring unexpected loss to yourself.

I hope we won't have to wait that longer because this time things are quite different than other years. Bitcoin is surely getting downward in value and many people are fudding that the bull run is over but I believe most investors are selling their Bitcoin holding due to the fear of German government's 50k Bitcoin selling and also due to the fear of that Mt. GOX crediting.

If that fear continues then we may see more selling pressure in coming days and that will result in Bitcoin's value going below $50k mark. I'm pretty sure that the fear won't last for whole 3 months and if somehow Bitcoin remains over $50k during these 1 and half months then we might see it moving upwards.

Just be patient, lower your expectations, and always be prepared for the worst.

Like you, I also expected that the bull run will start at Q2 of this year, but like what we are seeing, we're nowhere near to it and we are seeing the opposite of it. Am I disappointed? No because I already know that it might not happen this time, but somewhere this year, it might happen. Of course, I'm still ready just in case it might not happen this year. When is the bull run happening? I don't know, and nobody knows. What we can only do is to wait patiently, and as long as it isn't starting, it's still a good time to buy more Bitcoin and other altcoins as well.

Just wait. There will be a time where Bitcoin will recover, and will surpass its previous ATH.

No one knows completely when it will really go, but it’s important to have funds and settlements with Yourself that you will be prepared when the time comes. I think the best way is to DCA every entry so that you would get with the price of bitcoin.

I just really hope it will be soon.
