Todays big drop doesn't really change anything for the long term, while it does look like it may, it doesn't. The reality is that we are going to live a period where its going to be quite fine to buy right now because price will keep going higher. I understand that it may not feel that way right now, but that's the reality. If you keep on avoiding it, then you are not going to make any profit out of it at all. However, if you could just keep on investing as much as you can, then you are going to see that the price will recover, both alts and bitcoin. People should not be scared when its down, its the perfect time to accumulate.

The market is already over sold right now and you can see that $52k is a strong support for Bitcoin. Bitcoin fell to $49k levels and recovered to $54k and there's chance that it might dump again.

However, if it doesn't dumps below $49k level then most of the altcoins will start gaining their value back.

But, if Bitcoin somehow dips to $44k levels then we see much adverse value drop of many altcoins too.

I agree and that's most likely the dip already that we're all waiting for. It's hard to see that it went down crazily and quickly. But this has to happen for us to see more money coming in to the market. All of the markets globally have dumped and they went down and there's no skip for the other markets not to get affected by it as well. It's making me believe now that these whales have been part of all of the markets, crypto, stocks, banks, etc.

Whether it will happen or not, I think I can only anticipate the possibility of BTC price if it really reaches $44k.. yes, a gradual buying strategy to get a dip position, I think it can be planned from now on... a bloody market does not mean it is the end of everything, for people who have known cryptocurrency longer than me, they might take advantage of this moment to short for a futures trader... and for spot traders, maybe they will tend to buy more or maybe they can also buyback...

Yes, all markets have dumped badly in this August and so does the crypto market. I'm not sure if those are the whales that did something like that but I believe that most of them sold their assets due to fear of taxes. There's no doubt that we may se Bitcoin rising to new levels once again but for that we need to wait for sometime.

Lol, that question always arises after a halving, but if you are going to look at it's history, everyone should not the answer: WE really don't know. Depends on how the market will react, currently we have the German government selling this 50k stash that really postponed the rally, and then now we still have the Mt. Gox repayment that started to move and sell their coins as well.

The best thing is while waiting, why not accumulate?

        -     What you said in the last sentence is really the best thing that we should do to save, as long as we have a chance to do it. Because it's really hard when the price of Bitcoin starts to take off in the market.

Ah that was a very scary time. Even in just a few days, BTC could be dumped below $50k. And as a result, altcoins also followed suit, really a price drop of more than -10%, some even dropped much bigger.

But finally since a few hours ago, the market immediately recovered and showed very drastic green signals. Like the previous very drastic drop, this time, the increase was also very significant. In fact, this time the price of BTC has reached $56k again, although this has not returned to its original state, and the market is still in a down condition when compared to the price of crypto in a week. But at least, it has increased, and we are still not sure where the market will go next, will it drop again or rise above $60k first.

No one knoweth when it's bull run... We only trace it from history has it has been happening and it seems that market behaviour has changed. So, we can say we've lost track of it.

But for now, we don't know when it will start to recover again. The price went up in a few days because the inflow from Bitcoin ETFs has again increased. You are right this was never the case before ETFs started, earlier either the price used to keep going down or after falling used to keep trading sideways it never used to reagin the previous price point so fast. I do not know how long the price will stay above $60K as any bad new comes again the price will fall once more.

in a bull run the market will not always be moving in an uptrend direction so i did expect for it to go down even though we are already past the halving event however like many, i did not expect it to go down below $60k but this just means we have to be stronger and keep holding because i expect a much higher pump after such a low dip
