Cross chain compatibility with BTC?

The fact that Bitcoin isn't so cross chain compatible has always been a problem and it has been holding developers back for a while but they are some ways around it. One of this is a protocol that enable interoperatibiity for Bitcoin and it's Teleport DAO (funny name right lol)

I feel in this crypto space a lot of projrcts overpromise or make up words to sound more fancy or more useful lol and I feel this project might be like that too but i've not used ut as I'm not a dveloper tho. This all sounds tempting and they claim it will be able to create dApps that have and support BTC bridging. They also have their own native town called $TST which looks like it lists pretty soon after an IDO for it

Developers in the house, does this sound good? Traders in the house, do you think the token has good potential?

I am not a developer myself and I don't see myself getting into this career field as I am technically-challenged guy that can easily get dizzy with so many jargons and nitty-gritty details out there. Anyhow, I understand that interoperability for Bitcoin has been a big challenge and one factor that maybe keeps it from really exploding as far as use-cases can be concerned. While we are seeing a big explosion on its price, it is on the development side that is not as glowing and exciting. I am then looking forward for Teleport to contribute a lot on this side. I am hoping to hear more on the side of the developers or least from people who are knowledgeable enough on this aspect.
