Nah! I dont think its a project that has come to stay in the crypto industry - see projects like this that are hyped when they launched tend to fade away with time and before you know what's happening nothing new will be heard from them again.

If they are lucky they might get to stay in the crypto space for a couple of years - the reason why I believe they'll last some years is because of other telegram projects that are currently imitating Notcoin and bringing it back to the attention of users - but in terms of those that are interacting with it, it has gone down very much (compared to its launched period) some just entered to get the airdrop profit nothing more. Lets just see if they'll be able to prove us wring and come up with good development to keep them valid in the ecosystem.

Nobody can tell if Notcoin is here to stay because it is a new coin and has no history or foundation yet. It is better that you don't invest in it but if you can do airdrops and get paid in Notcoin, it is cool. Invest in a coin that has a strong foundation and have lasted long in the market like bitcoin and hodli in other for you to enjoy from the fruit of your labour. You can also buy Etherum is you like altcoins, but I only use some altcoins for transaction purposes.

I agree with you. I have never appreciated the idea of investing in memecoins or coins whose value is based on hype. People often want to make quick money and invest in those coins, but cryptocurrencies with good fundamentals always pay off in the long term. I only receive memecoins or hype coins by participating in giveaways or airdrops. I cannot invest my hard-earned money in them. For example, the first Notcoins I am about to earn come from the '500,000 NOT by completing simple tasks' event launched by Bitget that I participated in recently.

 Everything will boiled down to the financial sustainability of the project and for now the project is doing well and the developers did a great work for launching the project in exchange. I am not a prophet and I k ow tht no baba alawo e dey here so nobody knows tomorrow. Exchanges have been delisting projects in di past so we don't know the future of Notcoin but their are some things we dey use to measure di longevity and legitimate of a project. And I think Notcoin scale through those things. But I can't still say yes but I will still put in the watch list for like 7 years.

Even if them scale through those criteria it still doesn’t make them safe - you can take Luna as an example, who on earth would have though that a project like would crash that way? If Luna can become useless overnight then look at a project that’s backed by hyped and people who don’t even know the nitty gritty of crypto.

Notcoin was a successful project but it is still an altcoin. Its marketcap is not more than $1.4 billion. Do not find it surprising if you found the marketcap below $300 million later. Do you know how much losses that could be for people that still invest in it? If you know you have gained from the project, also be expecting massive drawdown during the bear market.

Notcoin is definitely here to stay, as long as the team will continue to develop the project, that is a basic fact, it will be very shameful for them to allow a more than a billion dollar market cap project they developed to die in their hands.

It is a sure thing that the team possibly never expected that their little idea of a game will develop into something that gained such a massive followership and participation, but this proves one thing, and that is, we should never under-estimate any idea in the crypto space.
I knew about Notcoin just a week after it was officially launched, I played the game for the first day and neglected it because it's seemed childish to me, but today, I regret not being serious with it when I had that opportunity.

At first notcoin gained it's popularity as a result of the fact that it was the first project to launch on ton blockchain and secondly the first gemefi that  launched as a p2e. Although it was over hyped but currently we all know that the market price of every Crypto is determinant of the Bitcoin direction and currently the market is bear which generally affects all others as well.
 The success and continuity of every project depends on the continuous development and improvement of the project. If the developers of the project are steadily on their feet making sure that they add more features to the notcoin project then we are sure of the fact that notcoin would sustain its availability and usefulness in the Crypto community otherwise that is the end of the project looking at the current situation of the Crypto market.

 According to airdrop experts, those airdrops that have their own website and not in telegram are best ones to mine and farm but Notcoin displayed maturity with differentiating itself from other airdrops from telegram. Even the so called hamster Kombat now has becomes the longest Indian Film. Every day tasks. And really it is because of Notcoin many people are tapping now. But the disappointment of Tapswap has reduced the participants. And hamster Kombat now is trying to do the same.

The launched of Notcoin presale and the main launched were just two weeks but hamster Kombat has reached one month.

Indeed Ton contributed to this hype - but I also feel the way they conducted their airdrop contributed as well.

If you check other airdrops you’ll noticed that they usually use - gleam.io or similar airdrop sites but Notcoin decided to use a simpler option instead that even a a none crypto enthusiast could use and participate and that’s what made it even more popular.

If you ask many of those that participated in it and contribute to the spread you’ll hear them say it’s just a game or something that allowed them to tap the screen of their phone and made money. This is just my opinion on it though.

The thing with memcoins is that, their are not designed to long term potential regardless of what the ecosystem supporting it market,  the thing is that, notcoin gained all it popularity because pf the free tsp to earn and because of the high promised returns,  this made many airdrop hunters to take the tap thing seriously and immediately it was launched many of them rushed to dump the coins in the market,  and since then the price of notcoin have not really done well like the first time it was launched.

Because of that, we have no much hope of having such a long term improvement except if the team are able to come up with new ideas and methods to keep real gamers interest in the game.
