let us have a discussion on the best businesses that we think will do well around us considering our location in this year 2024.

In my own place of origin, I consider agriculture a very lucrative form of business that people could venture into right now as the interest in that sector is reducing, and food supply is threatened.

There is availability of land for agriculture but I don't think that the space for agriculture is a problem anymore with different mechanized methods of agriculture that make use of a small space to produce massive yields.

my country itself is an agricultural country but farmers are not exactly getting good profits so unless you will have a land of your own and that is big enough to supply different kinds of crops then i wouldn’t say it’s too profitable

since i am in a city close to schools there should be an array of businesses available that should be catered to students one being a dormitory second being a laundry shop and obviously a store selling school supplies

I also like the hydrophonics or aquaponics But what  I think that you have mention it doesn't need the constant cultivation is not really right, because it does need the ongoing cultivation but you can make the setup which can do by less cultivations but in that case the cost will be much higher so this idea not going to be cost effective.

Even then I wanted to mention one more method which is Vertical Farming and that is kinda same cultivation process but changes on setup I have planed multiple time to start up this but for time efficiency I can't manage this.

I live in a region where agriculture is the main industry, where sugarcane production is quite popular, but you need a large investment if you want to venture into it. Generally, entrepreneurs in my region invest more in food, fast food and delivery are what are giving the greatest financial return.

I'm living in a province where agriculture is their main source of income and you know what's the problem. They aren't getting that much profit because buyers are buying it to them at a very low price. I mean they will still get profit, but the time that they've spent isn't worth the profit that they got.

Yes business that's related to agriculture is a very lucrative business because we all need food. I'm not good at business, but one problem that these sellers are experiencing is oversupply. There are times that their product has a huge amount of supply in the market and they can't sell it anymore and they will end up losing money because the food will get rot or there are some that they're just dumping it away and making it as fertilizers.

As always, food business would be the most lucrative one, but the competition around it is very high. Hmmm, I can't think of a specific business because there are some factors to consider as well. Selling digital products might be a good one? I mean if you're a good designer, you can just earn money from it through selling it online.

You don't need much all you need is 25 litres gallon and the funds to buy PMS from the filling station and stay at the road side with your 25 litres of PMS and sell at a higher price than the petrol station. It is called black market down here. The profit here is that, there is poor power supply and the petrol station is some kilometers away making it stress for those who are buying petrol in gallons to reach easily. So they will prefer to buy at close by especially at night.

As somebody that's living in a remote area, doing some small business like that would be profitable as long as nobody's doing it aside from you. Kind of a monopoly. That would work and will be profitable as long as the buyer will not have any competitors around unless your area is that big that his profit isn't affected if there's another supplier of PMS around.

I said that I'm living in a remote area and often times, I'm thinking of the possible things that I could sell around our home since the place where we can buy necessities (market) is around 10 kilometers away. I'm already doing a small business where I'm sharing my internet connection to other people since there's no internet connection here (satellite-based one), and I want to think of another one. I mean additional income source as well.

In my country agriculture is a lucrative business because of the food source problem but in my place more on tourism-related business because my place is a good tourist spot.

Agriculture is a very bad choice for small businesses, it needs huge capital and a lot of space and salary for employees but yet there is no guaranteed returns cause many things can go wrong and I know a lot of people who make thousands of dollars a month but they are extremely rich and they don't rely on agriculture for their living.

I would say pretty much anything that is home made and with proper branding it can be a successful one in a year or two and it needs less capital depends on the nature of product and you can even start advertising your products on your own with the help of social media but you have to be creative to get the attention in the fast-moving world.

Agriculture is inevitable and every country has to grow something on their land if possible while some countries choose to import because they can and it works fine until something hits them harder.

Anyway talking about the individual doing agriculture as I pointed out its profitable but highly unpredictable so if anyone chose it as their only source of income then they will have hard time surviving in the bad times.

Social media is too deep, beyond certain limits we need PR to promote our own brands and need to stay on the trend and always try to keep the engagement going but the upside is, it can be started on our own from nothing so that gives us an opportunity to reach people that we never had before with the traditional media promotions.

What can you say about the laws in certain countries where residents now have to get a license if they are growing backyard gardens? I don't know if this is a real news actually but people in telegram are talikng about this.

Can't find a better business than farming actually its the safest especially because of shortage of food.

It could be, I have at one time a rice field in our country, however, someone just loaned it to me as he needed some money. But I as able to have a good harvest for a year and it was really a good time. But our contract ended, the owner payed me back the money that he owned and so that was my first experience with it. I even had like 13 sacks of rice extra that I didn't sold but I brought it with me and my family survived never buy any for the rest of the year. So yeah, it's really a good business and as long as you have a lot of good people behind you to help, you will be successful.

This business is actually lucrative because I’m familiar with it also and many people from my side are also doing the business. The business has its own time that it’s lucrative, during those times it’ll cover up for all the times you’ve not been able to make a sale from the business. The business is most lucrative during PMS scarcity, when PMS is hard to get, they; the black marketers that have held some PMS will hike their prices because motorist won’t have choice than to buy from them because it is a necessity for them. When there no PMS scarcity, they get to sell more often at nights but only in small quantity.

For those that patronize them during the day will only consider the cost of transportation going to a fueling station to get PMS, so they’ll rather buy with them to reduce overall cost. The only thing I don’t like with this business is that most of the black marketers liaise with petrol stations by bribing them to give them some large amount of PMS, so that they can hoard for the times the fuel will be scarce. Some even engage in the bribe in the period of PMS scarcity, they sell the little PMS they have to them and neglect selling for motorists because of the bribe they get from them.
