How's someone who created a topic in this forum indicated?

I'll find it little stressful and unusual to understand this forum for awhile now but my first approach is to ask, How do we identify an Original Poster(Op) here like the other forum is clearly indicated.

It will be difficult to track the username if the discussions are long or a series of replies. The only way is to copy Op username and search for it. Then Original Poster(Op) will have a different color.

I recognize you from bitcointalk, did you apply for teleportation yet, if not then I suggest you to apply for it. And yeah this forum doesn't have all the features that bitcointalk has to offer. Like this OP feature, it has not yet been integrated into this forum. So to recognize the Original poster you have to find out who has made the post.

Then you have to track the OP's post in the thread he created manually while on BTT you can see how many posts OP has made just by clicking ctrl+f and then write OP you will find how many times the word OP has written. Maybe someone in the future introduce such feature but only admin can integrate it.

I think the Op is trying to know who created the topic even if in the last page of the thread and not only in the home page of the board or the thread. And this has been discussed many times in this forum but everyone against the idea of adding tht feature so we are all moving on like blindfolded players without knowing the topic owner in from the second page of the thread. And in most time, in most time people came to the thread at the second or the third page of the thread and you guys said he should go back and check the topic starter op at the first page first before coming back to make comments. That is not really right. The feature should be added so to identify the Op easily. I add made such suggestion but you guys said there is no need for that.

It's not that stressful to find OP you can either check by visiting the first page of any thread and see the first post and secondly you can see the OP's name from the section. It is written as "started by AVE5". So I don't think it's that stressful for us. You are new to this forum I can see that and I know you are from bitcoin talk that's why you find this forum difficult to use. With time you will get used to it.

Things are not the same at both forums you are lucky to get a telegram notification bot made my PX-Z because before 2024 there was no such bot existed. You might know PX-Z already, he made the telegram notification bot due to the high demand of it.

The two forums are different, and you should not expect to see the same features that were on the other forum on this forum too or any other forum you know.
 As someone in search of knowledge as a reason for becoming a member of these forums, you have to always approach them with an open mind.

Perhaps the (OP) symbol has appeared on Bitcointalk but it has not been implemented on AltcoinsTalks, the admin never wanted AltcoinsTalks to be just a copy of Bitcointalk but to be better and more friendly

For me, the (OP) symbol is not really important because I only focus on the content of the discussion instead of the person who brings up the opinion. If you want to know the topic creator, we can go back to page 1 and get the information.

Sometimes OP's knowledge is good, especially in long or technical discussions that require tracking down thread owner, but I think it was added to the Bitcointalk forum code recently, and since there are not many technical discussions, using alternatives will not be difficult.
The OP code in Bitcointalk is open source and can be easily added here.

I agree with you and one more thing is that almost all the users who teleported from the BitcoinTalk are used to the BitcoinTalk system and here, many things are still underwork, As karma system is under work as I have read many requests from the users of the forum and I came to know that after reading from the senior member that the admin is working on karma system and it will be changed. Now we are just waiting for the integration of the new karma system into this forum.

Besides this, I read this another request for the "OP" feature to be integrated into this forum. I believe things take time and they groom time after time. This forum has its own features which differ it from other forums but surely nothing can be perfect and for that, it needs to update from time to time.

If admin posts the development list of necessary, important, urgent, or that you may need a time before applying it will be appropriate.
There are many ideas and one person to implement, so waiting is the available option.

OP, is used to the other forum and he wants this forum to be similar which I don't see it to be so. In the beginning before Power Glove came into the forum, members are used to posting without concern to know when the OP post on his own thread and it was fine with everyone even though the discussion of such has been deliberated on. This is why I don't think it is needful now in this forum maybe with passage of time Admin can look into it, what matters is quality post and educative discussions.

There is no indicator in this forum like the other forum but you'll be able to see who created the thread like the image provided by bitmover. All you have to do is copy the username and use find in page or ctrl + f on the keyboard to open the search box feature. It will highlight a word or name that you are looking for. For mobile phones, browser have this feature. Just open settings and select find in page then type or paste whatever you want to search.

It would be nice for the admin to add 'op' to every post of the original poster in their own topic, but how necessary is this, not necessary at all if you ask me. You can easily find who the original poster of a topic is, simply visit the first page of the said topic.

There are other more important things to be implemented in the forum, and this one should be close to the bottom of the list.

This issue has been raised time without number and I have also created a thread as I said in my previous comment. But those who supposedly support the motion against the motion so the issue just die than. But frankly speaking Thread or topic starts as abbreviation is needed in the forum but the majority who didn't see the important of the concept said no. So we move on.
