But I am personally not keen on any such promotion. Because I have joined various giveaways and airdrops in the past, I got very little compared to my working time. Which I will never be satisfied. Moreover, there is no way to say that all promotions are legit. If we look at the average results there may be (1-2)% of the promotions paid off. As you mentioned here that is an app has to be download. This is the biggest concern right now because it could be orchestrated by malware that can be a scammer's attack, as @bhadz has already pointed out.

Who knows if they aren't selecting themselves as the winner of the giveaways, because it's rare to see external people emerges as a winner for those kind of event. Although about the forum here I believe whatever that is being carried out on forum is legit if only it's hosted by some reputable members over here than just joining some of these giveaway on x or other social media platforms.

If you had shared the app link or name, then we would have been able to check it for you, but I did hear about Pump Fun a few days ago, I checked the site, and it has views in millions don't know how people are getting benefit from this site, or how this site actually works. But I don't think there is any real app that will give you 0.1 or 0.2 Sol just for installing the application.

I once installed an app for mavia as they were organizing the airdrop where we have to download the app and in return they give 12.5 tokens to everyone who participated and ATH was around $10. Now its around $2. So you can earn huge money if you are joining airdrops and I can accept this fact as well, but saying you found an app from such site paying 0,1 sol daily its seem 100% fake. So be aware, app might containing malicious virus.

I never used Pump Fun before, this site is new for me the layout is hard to understand not a single user guide on the site that I found. I have to look at other sites for its legitimacy. For now, I will say there is not a single application that is giving away 0.1 Sol and not one time but on daily basis. It seems so good to be true that 0.1 Sol is around $15 according to the current market price.

If you are new to this field then I would say there is no such thing in the current time that is giving people free money just to download applications. It was happening in the past time like 10 years ago but today these apps are just a way to scam you. If you are not a technical person who doesn't understand how scams occur then follow this advice from me that everything that seems so good to be true in crypto is fake and you just have to ignore it.

I personally did not try such giveaway this time from twitter because I don't know how it works, is it like airdrops? Some people posted on twitter like if I had to like retweet I may receive tokens but I am not interested on it anymore because I benefited nothing when I did it some years ago so why should I?

There are different references to all these kind of giveaways. When you go through X platform and you see tweets such as "drop your wallet, there is $1000 worth of sol for 10 lucky winner". Trust me, these kind of tweets are the most useless tweets to ever engage. Most of them are plot to get scan the wallet addresses that are submitted so they can attack the owner through some phishing scans that is going to drain the wallet.

Always put it in your mind that there is no free money anywhere, most giveaways are given to loyal and close friends and some to their own wallet address especially if it's anonymous platform where people cannot identify and verify the real winners.

I personally did not try such giveaway this time from twitter because I don't know how it works, is it like airdrops? If it's to download an application or something like that, then I'm not interested or I might be more careful, because this could be dangerous for us too.

But if it was from a project that was really clear I would think about it again. I usually also take part in a give away just doing tasks like liking and retweeting and just commenting on our address. However, I also use a wallet that is specifically for that purpose or don't use the main wallet.

If this really works, then it's okay to try it.  But the question is, is the application that will be installed on our smartphone safe?!  If an application is marked as dangerous, we should review it first, getting 0.1 Sol to 0.2 Sol is certainly very pleasant!

Yes, it is possible to earn with the giveaway events and also as well as like that gambling. I can  guarantee it is possible to earn a lot of money and be rich at quick time but there is a fact and that is, no one can guarantee that person will be you or any other person. 
In most cases, the giveaway is fake, but there are some top and legit giveaways, if you see Mr. Beast constantly gives huge giveaways to his fans. But thinking that you will run your lifetime by earning from the giveaway, it will be nothing but stupidity. Don't put your life on only luck like the gambling.

Participating in giveaways from social media without proper verification from the project website is very dangerous not to talk of when it involves downloading of application into your phone.

Most times, hackers are the ones with those giveaway tricks to lure people into their traps and when the download, they use it to gain access to their data and information and as soon as they get those details, they use it against you by stealing your assets or they blackmail you to get something from you. Do not look at their giveaway rewards because it can be very enticing and catchy but rather look at the authenticity of the giveaway and the platform involved to know how genuine and reliable it is.

Anything for the money, some people are ready to do it for their social media monetization. That's the reason why I don't jump or believe in anything called giveaways on any social media platform.

You are correct in saying that those giveaways are mostly done to generate traffic for themselves, and they will end up not getting anybody rewarded for the giveaways or they will fake in payout of the giveaways done

Many times we have seen alot of projects that promise alot of return for their promoters whi may engage in one social media task for the team and getting allocated airdrops rewards.
