Your project is well known to me, considering that it has been present on BTT for some time, and it is certainly good that you presented it on this forum as well. Can this tool be used with filtered and modified results to show only addresses that have coins in balance?
For example if I have 300 addresses I want to show results with excluded everything with zero balance.
This search command should be optional.

Is this going to count addresses that have unconfirmed transactions also?

Yes!

One more thing could be interesting is to show all addresses that have history, and ones without history of transactions.

I can't do that now, because this would mean to download much more data making the tool slower. I will think about it.

Thank you bitmover, that was updated quicker than I was expecting.
As for my other suggestions, forget about them, I know they need a lot more resources and it's really not that important to have.

Can this new service be used to check address balance for some big altcoins, or it only works with bitcoin?

I think that would require running another full node for each coin. Or to have a Blockcypher or Blockchair API key - as free versions will come with daily limits that make balance checkers less useful. Is that correct @bitmover?

Maybe to start with, there can be Litecoin and Ethereum support. Maybe Solana (but I don't know anyone who actually uses that).

There are free api, I use mempool.space for bitcoin. There  are certainly free for altcoin, like etherscan

However,  there are so many altcoins and layers 2  . For example, there are about 10 (or more?) L2 for ethereum. Base, Linea, zksync, matic, op, Arbitrum...?

There are also ethereum copy cats like bnb...

When I created this project, I thought about focusing in bitcoin only. This was one of the reasons for it.

@bitmover, how easy (or difficult) is it to fix that defect and do you think it would significantly affect the visibility of the forum? The forum will have a hard time progressing if some basic things are not arranged as they should be.

I know some things about SEO but I am not a specialist. There are some small things that can be done that I have noticed,  like data schema that i mentioned above.

This is usually simple and easy to implement , like I did here.

It takes just a few lines of code to make google job easier.

In the end each page just need something like that.

In the next two months, I really have a lot of obligations, plus maybe some vacation days, so I won't have much free time. For this reason, I will not have a subscription to some SEO tools, but this should change from September.
We can then do an SEO analysis of your site and make some recommended changes and corrections.

Until then, devote yourself to improving the service and possibly implementing some of the suggestions you receive from the community.

I have some decent organic traffic , specially to the balance Checker tool. But any seo suggestion is always welcome.


Anyway, I think people are also talking about how to implement seo suggestions in the forum as well.

This is BITCOINdata.science so no bitmover, don't even think about adding support for any altcoin metrics on your website.
If someone really want's to use this service for any other coin they can always fork bitcoindata.science since it is Open Source, and use whatever they like with contribution.

if I remember correctly, the ^hobby idea started to combine some additional tools for Bitcointalk forum users. Obviously, there was a need to go beyond the needs of forum users. So, for example, maybe he could add an update with embed code for other html sites, not only the forum and BB code.

Bitcoindata.science already have tools that are not connected with bitcointalk forum in any way.
You can check balance of multiple addresses, or you can use Unit Converter to convert Bitcoin price to many local fiat currencies.
I need to think more what could be done as a privacy project for bitcoin, maybe something related with Silent Payments.
