Yes, very true, definitely something that must be very legit. Why not put 100+ million people in the world all into same category and tell the world that they all have dark traits, because as we all know, 100+ million would all be equal to each other and would have something in common... Of course this is BS, its obvious BS from a mile away and it was done to get some attention, not only the clickbait article was done on just attention grabbing reasons, but I am sure that even the research was. You just have to skew the research just enough because none of these are provable things, you say someone has a dark trait and suddenly they do.

Didn't these "recent studies" take into account that a significant portion of those who buy Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are investing for quick profit? Is it a good investment method instead of traditional investment methods and that a small percentage buys Bitcoin because of financial freedom, privacy and decentralization?

Looking at https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0305178, it doesn't seem they ask reason why people by cryptocurrency. It also state they collect the data from May 26 2022 to June 30 2022, when cryptocurrency market was on decline.

Surveys are not a benchmark for any conclusions because most people answer surveys randomly as long as they appear to be participating, especially if we see that this survey is aimed at crypto ownership, as we know crypto owners want to always remain anonymous and not be published.

It could be math, but it's not as accurate as other branches of, and so there are +/- regards to this data. And so I completely disagree with it. Obviously, they just try to spin everything with crypto as we all know that in the beginning, media portrait it as something bad and that only criminals are using it.

So I'm not concern with this data and I would say that it's definitely wrong. Crypto is growing around the world, we even have government already treating it as a legal tender. So probably this is just another FUD to discouraged people, but it can't be stop as this revolution has already taken off.

This article does have some good points like it makes people involved in crypto sadism and psychopathy. But in some way only. For example, people involved in crypto have faced lose and profits as well. They always waiting for moments of surprise and moments of disaster as well. But to sail safely in the deep seas of trading, traders have to adopt to the environment and they learn risk mitigation techniques.

But, in the process, sometimes some traders who fail to keep there work and personal life apart, merge the feelings and that affects both lives. I agree that trading makes traders a little bit stone-hearted in the sense that they don't react to big losses in a way a simple dude would react. They know loss I permanent and we all have to face it but what can be done now or before so we could face less or none.
