Egypt win against Spain is the biggest surprise for me today in football Olympic tournament.
Spain finished in second place of Group C and they are playing against Japan who is very close to win the first place of Group D.
Argentina is playing against France but they didnt show anything special in Olympics and home team is favorite for me.

Morocco too where able take matters into their own hands, they had a convincing 3-0 victory and secured a spot in the Quarters, 4 Africans qualified for the Olympics and 2 of those teams making it out of the group stages makes me happy, and most importantly both of those teams have a rally decent chance of making it to the Sem finals, Morocco would play against USA, which Egypt are up against Paraguay next. That means if both teams should win their next match, at least an African team would be ending up with a medal.

Bad start for me in basketball, Canada won and Australia wasn't able to cover the win by Canada. I though it's going to be close and it really went that way until in the last 4 minutes of the game where Canada took over, as they step up their defense on Giddey by Dort and then SGA and RJ Barrett lead the way.

Same here mate, i thought Australia has a fighting chance since they were leading most of the game until the last 4 minutes. Double loss for me last night as i bet on Greece but unfortunate they lost to Spain.

Not a wise move on Japan on that last play, they could have let France shoot from 3 and not even contest it as they will still lead by a point even if the three went in. Yeah I know Morocco aren’t going to have it any easy against the team USA, but I just rather believe that, USA is a more favorable opponents for them, much more than the France would have been, I guess we can said France had an easy group opponents, bit it’s still commendable finishing the group stages with a 100% record and also keeping a clean sheet in each of those three matches, although Japan team always won all their group stage matches without conceding any goal as well.

Have you noticed that men turn into women to participate in sport where they have an advantage in strength and dexterity only? Swimming, running, boxing, weightlifting. We see no transgenders in any shooting discipline, or breakdance, or pool jumping. That is why this looks like cheating to me. Speaking of Olympics some of the natural sporting event have been fun, just the olympic oriented and default ones have been awful, imo... I just watched Carlos Alcaraz totally destroy Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach the men's tennis finals, and would probably face Novak Djokovic again for the 2nd time in a space of few weeks. Another epic event loading!

I'm reading some complaints of harassment on some players particularly those elites from Chinese national team. Some people are even accusing them of doping because of how good they are. I'm not gonna lie, the diving competition that I've seen were like flawless (no splash).
