-snip-
may happen this year or the next but the important part is how we read the market and how we will act in every moment specially
when the bull starts up because we have a different starts this time(as the price or the ATH being broken even before the halving begin )so that will bring another chances.
Hopefully it will happen soon because I've been holding on for quite a while and now collecting more.
My bag is pretty full now and getting ready for that amazing ATH.

Every ATH moment that will occur will be an opportunity to take more profits. You can sell everything or only leave 20% of the total assets held, so there is a chance to sell more expensive when passing the higher ATH prediction.
When ATH occurs at the top of bullish I will not sell all my collection coins, maybe I will leave 10-20 % to wait for a higher ATH if it happens, but if that's the highest we can sell it at Hjjarga below before we enter the long bearish season after Bullish Eason, don't be late selling it, because we will be trapped.

My price target is $150k and I will sell some no matter how much higher it goes, probably the entire portfolio and only withdraw some of what I spent to buy(that's only a small portion of the target). I do DCA on bitcoin and (more recently) solana irregularly, but PnL performance is pretty good. Note, this does not mean I will be out of the market.
At least a 150k price is big enough for anyone who bought bitcoin at any price in the last few years because at any price, having a $150k price is already 2x+ Which is significant enough to take the whole profits and wait for when the price will correct downward again before buying more to full up the space, I think since you mentioned that you DCA along the way that make sense alot also and at so level not leaving ypur asset to stay untouched for so long time is not the beat most especially if the assets already make a tremendous increase as the amount you mentioned.

It is a wise decision to leave 10%-20% of the assets that you hold when the bulls actually arrive and reach a new ATH.
The possibility of going higher could happen, I will only sell gradually when my main target is reached and it will provide maximum profit.

Some people find it difficult to make decisions when the bulls arrive and the price exceeds our specified target.
In the end, the confusion makes sales not optimal, which should be able to sell at the highest price.

The $100k benchmark is a good price for one to think of selling their bitcoin holding. As for me, I will sell some part of my bitcoin, to hold on to some, if peradventure Bitcoin hits some high price before the end of the bull run.

None of us, really know how the price of bitcoin would soar to by next year. We can only speculate that it reaches a higher price of $100k or above. That doesn't mean, it will certainly reach the price we foresee bitcoin to be in its ATH

I would assume that people who sold in the last month, must be feeling quite unhappy about their decision and regretting it by now. I get that it may feel like a dead end situation at times, but looking at it right now, we can see that it is not as dead end as we think it is. I get that it is going to cause a lot of trouble with what we have, and it may not look like a great deal all that quickly, but right now it looks like we are growing and that's what matters. We should consider the fact that it is going to be a good one for a while longer too, its not going to end anytime soon, should be a big deal.

To be fair, placing a sell order at exactly $100k is not very wise. Given that it's a round number with a lot of psychological weight to it, it's expected that A LOT of other people will have it set as a selling price, meaning the sell wall and resistance could be huge. If you're happy to sell at $100k, then selling at $95-99k wouldn't make that much difference to you, and it would help you avoid your order being stuck in a massive sell wall.
You're right. Most people probably set the same selling price at $100k because it is the main target of Bitcoin next ATH. It is not impossible that the price of Bitcoin won't reach $100k again, it is the same as in the last cycle (in 2021). Sure, it will be safe to set the selling price lower $100k, $95k-$99k is a reasonable rate for selling. TBH, I also consider this option although I believe the price should cross $100k in this cycle. Well, I think I need to take a look at the progress of Bitcoin price movement in the next few months, so I can decide some changes.

And if you think that we will easily get through the $100k mark, then why not set the sell order at a higher level?
I have learned from my mistake in 2021, I don't want to make the same mistake. It is better to divide the selling price, don't rely on one target. I personally believe that the next ATH should be higher than $100k, but I don't want to risk my assets.

An investor should not regret it when making a decision to sell or buy, because that is part of learning. We can learn from things we have done before, for example, if our steps are wrong and cause losses, it is best not to repeat them. but if only if we held it we would get more profit, that is not a mistake, but just impatience. so we can still fix it.

I had bought Bitcoin at 63k in excitement. It hit 71k and then came back to 63k. I have kept it on hold till now. Call it madness, call it greed or call it smartness. To be honest, I have kept it on hold for my personal savings with the hope that someday it will reach 100k.

That is patience, not madness or greed. If you have free funds that you don't need in the near future, it's best to hold them for the long term, I also do that because I have a target of selling bitcoin at a price of $100K. And maybe I won't sell all of it, I will hold some and sell at a higher price. because it is possible that the price of bitcoin will reach $125K.

Many of us are eagerly waiting for Bitcoin to hit $100k. Are you planning to sell after Bitcoin hits $100k? Or are you planning to make your investment last longer?

First I will wait a while if its possible to hit till 120k but if I see the market slowly falling after 100k then yeah I am planning to sell all of my coins with no regret .

But what I will do next is the important part and that is what?

i will wait for the price to drop again at least 70k then will repurchase and will have my holding be more in percentage and that will be keeping till next halving season.

Im sure many of us is also having the same plan with me Aren't you OP?

If the price of bitcoin increases to $100K, maybe I will sell some and wait to see if the price will go up or down? if it goes down I will sell everything and wait for the price to correct to the bottom and then I will buy more bitcoin. Yes, our strategy is almost the same, because most of them also carry out strategies according to their beliefs in crypto.

what you did is self determination and anyone out there can do it provided that they are have plans and projections on how long they could hold their investment before selling it, what is important mostly is patient to hold till the require date and of course if people find out that there investment hit to their target they may decides to take profits or sell off.

If have possibility for bitcoin break out $100k I will sell all my bitcoin assets and waiting correction moment to buy back, bitcoin always make correction price after success reaching higher price and keep holding until reach higher its not good ideas with potential bitcoin will go down back to lower price.
Last two months ago when bitcoin success breaking out new all time high price I believe many holder sold their bitcoin assets and buy back after correction moment, now most of them will waiting another good moment for selling bitcoin on the top price.

      -      You know, maybe later on there will be many people waiting for bitcoin to reach $100,000 each, and then those people who are hoping for a price like this will only be holding a small amount.

There are a lot of people like that who think they have Bitcoin holdings, but they have very little in their account balances.

There was exactly when I don't have an exit strategy and I know many bitcoin investors do not have an exit strategy. Most will be holding against their wish till another bear market surfaces while some will exit 100% of their portfolio.

I am skeptical about bitcoin at 100k. I am having the feelings that selling pressure at 100k would make bitcoin not to progress higher than 100k.

But when we have 100k, I will simply sell 25% of my investments, either for reinvestment in other areas of life or for project or for good living and watch the next moves of the market in order to know the next plan.
