I think we all have the same plan. We buy Bitcoin and hold the Bitcoin until the price meets with our selling target. How long to hold the Bitcoin may be varied, some people may hold for months but other may hold for years. It actually depends on the selling target. If people have the target to sell at very high price, they must hold for many years. But if they only target to get not so high profits, they may hold for few months only.

It is better to do both, hold for short and medium term to gain profit and do long term hold to gain bigger profit. I also do both, by trading and also hold for long term, currently hold long term for next year. because bullish season will happen next year as many people predict.

Bitcoin is not something to hold forever. I think if someone plans to hold on to Bitcoin until they die then the return on that investment is nil (just kidding). The purpose of hoarding bitcoins is to plan for the future and the purpose of holding is to take profits. That is to say the value objective of long term investment in Bitcoin is to save for the future from which multiple profits can be earned.

It is an individual's freedom to keep it for how long. But it should be long (4 years-12 years or more). Well, I can't hold forever. If there is need for me to sell when we get there, I will happily sell because profit is profit and there is nothing bad in selling some but if the demand comes and we cross that price, I will hold and observe before taking the next action on my small bag.

$100k is a phycological resistance, expect a dump from that price and don't be surprised if we don't touch that price, if we ever get there we might only see $99,800 and a market sell will come immediately because that's what traders do most often. If you plan to sell in any resistance, don't wait until that price is hit, sell $1k before that region.

Personally I think holding long term is not the optimal way of milking the crypto markets, one way one can do this is by following the trend, if markets are dipping then short the market and if markets are soaring then long the markets regardless of a bull 🐂 or bear 🐻 you still make your money, unless you don't have the time to analyze the markets keeping holding then wait for 100K to sell

Anyway the strategy is buy low and sell high, and if it happens that 100K comes then for sure you sell some and wait for the next dip to rebuy.

Yes must of the people and most of the analist are predicting that the Bull season are coming in the next year. I am also believe on this prediction so we have still a good time to invest long term in some potential coins like Bitcoin etherium Binance coin solana and etc. you can also make a plan for short time investment it also profitable but in the long term investment can give you higher profit then short term investment. so if you have enough money after completing your daily expenses then you can invest for both long term and short terms. but always try to use DCA strategy
