There are many strategies that we can do in investing, some are just holding long term and some are trading. Buying during correction and selling when it increases, this can be done by following market movements, and I think this is the most effective strategy.

Of course, there are many ways in investment or trading but it is not easy to have an effective strategy. The most common strategy is buy the dip and sell at a pump. Lot of people with their target on how they wanna hold bitcoin, some wishes the price to hit 100k so they could sell of their holding and take profits, while some people would hold for decades provided the price kept increasing it gives them joy to hold longer. But when price is declining they wouldn't think to buy because they had already reached their investment limits and just hoping for the price to increase so that they would take profits of what they had invested initially.

I also have a friend who has been holding old bitcoins in his wallet and not selling the bullish top every 4 years, he did that because he wanted to invest long term maybe up to 10 years or more because two have gone through 2 4-year cycles but still haven't sold the bitcoin, maybe because he has a lot of money
While I am a typical investor who will sell all my crypto assets during the bullish season and buy them back when it is bearish.

Actually there is nothing wrong selling bitcoin when we think the price has increased and if we sell there is other greater opportunity to buy at lower price, then also take another good chance to sell at higher price maybe targeting another bull run season.
You know many people thought selling their holdings is a waste of resources but if there is enough profits selling is not bad than holding while the price fall below our entry points.

I would never advise anyone more especially newbie to option for selling because bitcoin investment is best appreciated when view in terms of longer term.for those who are still in there early phase of bitcoin accumulation should focus more on accumulating more bitcoin and hold for a longer duration like 4-10yrs .

When one learns how the crypto market is, the time to sell at a high price(bull run) and the time to also buy at a low price(bearish market).
