Choose a long term investment, it doesn't mean to hold for 10 years. When you hold for 3-4 years, it is also a long term investment. I personally never think to hold for 10 years, it is a too long time. I will take profits in each cycle of bullrun season. So, I usually hold 3-4 years only. We all need to follow certain patterns and set different time frames to achieve our investment goals, and our crypto experience is like that too. As you did last year, holding assets for the long term is definitely the type of decision most can affirm to be strong, taking into account the situation with such big coins as Bitcoin, but shifting your focus to the cycles in the market is also a reasonable choice. I think you sold your invested Bitcoins in the right way. If you were too greedy, it seems like you would have been at great risk. Yeah everyone has their target of holding and selling points and of course holding 3-4 years is actually enough depending on the time of investment if you you invested at bear run, by 3-4 years following the circle you should be experiencing huge increase. Though that is considered as short term investment and if you target the profits correctly you would definitely make gain within that short period of time, and anyone who target within that period and monitor their investment would make something beneficial from their investment. But to me that is actually short time, 8-12 years is enough to experience about 2+3 halving which would boost your return of investment like many institution who are holding for years would sell out huge profits.

No body investment with the sole purpose of losing their investment and for that they should also be determined about the possible outcome, it could be lose or profits. The most important thing is when we are making profit from the investment.

You are right, although I am very pro btc and I do not have much experience with alts, at some point in 2021 I bought some alts but I lost with them, my experience was not good at all, so I think I trust more in the best and in what I really see as the future, btc for me is the future, it represents that, considering things as they are now I think btc will continue to rise and this will be quite a feat for it to continue rising, in fact in January 2025 for me it will continue to rise and more when Trump takes power, this is wonderful, really many did not even expect it.

I don't see anything wrong with selling your coins, the goal should be a long term journey but f we are to be honest, you can't hold Bitcoin firmly if you are occupied by problems, there will be this zeal of selling any time you have a challenge especially after you have ask people for help and nobody refuse to render you help financially.

As long as you didn't sell your coins cheaper, it's win for you and Bi because you didn't dump on anybody and if the next person that bought from you continue in that manner, Bitcoin will not have too much dump as it use to have.

I found everything you said very good. Because you said to hold Bitcoin for 10 years. It is not possible for us to hold for 10 years. because we do not have that much patience. my opinion if you plan to hold the coin then set a specific time in advance. that I will keep this coin until that time.
