Honest review about JokerMix:

The site was used exclusively through a TOR browser. No download problems were detected by me.

Mixing:

Step 1. Selecting the cryptocurrency I want. JokerMix supports such cryptocurrencies as BTC and Dash. In my example, it is Dash that will be used. Next, I use the slider to select the size of the “Service Fee”. In my case, it is 4%. I also want to note that before you start mixing in the calculator you can calculate the cost of the commission without taking into account the network fee. This is as convenient and practical as possible.

Step 2. Passing the captcha. At this stage, everything is probably clear. We enter the correct numbers and move on to the next point.

Step 3. Making a deposit. I did it through a QR code. The performance check was successful, I didn't have any problems at this stage.

Important information! Be sure to keep the letter of guarantee. Otherwise you will not be able to prove anything to anyone and your funds will be irrevocably lost. There is also an option to delete a session. When you click on the corresponding button, all data, including the letter of guarantee, will be destroyed.

Step 4. Unfortunately, the waiting time for my chosen cryptocurrency Dash turned out to be too long. The reason is simple, not enough users are using it in JokerMix at the moment. Therefore, I had to wait longer than when I was mexing BTC.

Step 5. Funds are deposited to my account.

UI/UX: There are no unnecessary animations, the design is as concise and pleasing to the eye as possible. Loading speed is instantaneous, which means that the site is well optimized for both PCs and smartphones.

Customer Support:

Before contacting customer support, you can read the Frequently Asked Questions section on the home page of the site. If the answer to your question is not presented in this section, you can use the “Telegram-bot support”. In it you can ask any questions you are interested in. To ensure confidentiality, correspondence in Telegram-bot is deleted automatically 4 days after the problem is solved. If you do not use Telegram, you can send a message to the support e-mail address. P.S. In the Telegram-bot of the support service I got a reply within half an hour.

Suggestion(s):

1. There is incomplete language localization both on the site and in Telegram-bot. This is important and plays a significant role in the further development of the project.

2. The sections “Why should I use JokerMix?” and “Check your Status” should be replaced. Why? So that the user doesn't have to scroll to the end of the page to check their status. In the mobile version this is inconvenient and requires unnecessary actions.

3. Unfortunately, the site lacks the ability to switch to a completely white background. This is an important feature that should definitely be implemented.

Ideas:

1. You have a ready Telegram bot. It would be really great if you would implement the “personal cabinet” functionality. Why?

First, you can add an up-to-date cryptocurrency exchange rate.

Second, you can add updated mixer commissions.

Thirdly, you can design everything in such a way that the user is more interested in the project itself.

2. Previously, I've never seen any instructive videos on YouTube about how/why/why to use a mixer. As long as there is no competition, why don't you consider implementing such an idea? Instructive content has been and will continue to be relevant at any time of the year. For most people, the topic of anonymity and the mixer remains obscure or not fully explored.

3. There is a relevance in Telegram Web App applications at this point in time. Why not implement an app similar to Blum (this is not an advertisement) with implementation of mixer ads and interconnectivity with your Telegram bot?

4. Making a deposit is possible with the help of QR code, but there is no possibility to update it. What should I do if I can't scan it? In that case I would like to make a deposit with the help of a new QR code. A similar problem is observed with the captcha. It is impossible to update it if you cannot solve it.

Final verdict:

At the end of testing of this service I have the most positive emotions. If you really value your privacy, I can safely recommend JokerMix for use. But do not forget that the service is currently in beta-testing stage.

As I believe that the review campaign serves to improve the service and possibly identify shortcomings, I only deal with things that I think should be improved.

Design

Responsive design is a basic thing today.

Info hints are missing, I think they are necessary because they should provide the information to the user so that no error occurs. So for example, instead of just a red box, the information that an incorrect Bitcoin address was entered would make it easier to identify the problem.
Also, an info hint about the input field and which addresses are acceptable would be appreciated


I would make the function of clicking on the icon for the onion page to "copy the link address" in memory, rather than opening the page in a new tab (as it is currently). If I visited the clearnet site using Chrome, I certainly could not open the onion page. Copy, it would be more useful for me to transfer the link to TOR.

Also, I would rather see the entire official onion link printed here, rather than just the icon. This can help prevent phishing sites.

I didn't find any info on when the session was safe/guaranteed. When is the deposit transaction recognized or only after 1 or more confirmations?

If the user sent a deposit, but for example because of a lower fee, the transaction was not confirmed, what happens in that case? After 6 days everything is deleted?? (a very realistic scenario)

You also have a mess with the http and https pages via TOR. https does not work, and it would be preferable to use https instead of http

Mixing process:

No support for Taproot addresses!

What is happening here?
The service fee is 2%, but it is quite obvious that much more than 2% has been calculated in the calculator. On deposit of 0.001, will receive 0.00038. Plus It is clearly indicated that the network fee is not included. It is unclear whether this means the fee that the service will pay for sending coins or what.

btw. the same amount of 0.001 with a 4% service fee will receive 0.00036. So obviously there is a fixed fee per transaction, which is not stated anywhere.
It seems like some extra 0.0006btc cost, that is not written anywhere

The download link of the Letter of guarantee should be at the top of the order page, it would even be desirable if there was a mandatory check box where the user would confirm that he has downloaded the file before sending any coins.

The letter of guarantee should be more complete and have more information.

I am curious about the fact that it is possible to wait longer for the realization of mixing due to the lack of users at a certain moment. What does it mean? That you don't have enough personal resources for a smooth process? If coins are exchanged exclusively between users, that would mean that someone can get coins with a high AML score risk?
Maybe it wouldn't be bad if you could give more details about how it is mixed on Jokermix.


I originally planned to send a deposit and test the process fully, but with the additional "hidden" fee, it's not worth it. At least not for this review, because the fee costs more than the review reward. Plus, at this moment, I can't wait up to a few days to finalize the mixing process.
However, in some future period, I will probably test that part as well.
