Ah ah... I thought newbies introductory thread has been existing in this our local board before now but anyhow @Agbe, you do well by thinking this far and to had made it possible with this thread.
I will suggest if the thread should be pinned so that we don't miss out when newbies introduces themselves in the forum with different threads. Atleast considering several newbies coming on board on basis.

If this thread is not pinned it won’t get utilized as it should be because once more threads are being created or old threads are being woken up by users this one will be buried in them, so it will be best if the moderator can just pin this one and let those coming to the forum newly use it to announce their presence (if they feel comfortable doing it).

The Sheriff and popular known as Igebotz who is the moderator should look into the thread and keep it at the top of the board so that whenever a newbie comes to the local board as a Nigeria will do the necessary or needful on the thread. And we need to welcome dem with + so they can be exited to participate and do well in the board and the forum at large. Though di + is not a mandatory one but just for... Encouragement...

How about this thread - Newly Teleported Members Report Here From the Sherrif himself @igebotz? Did you consider the presence of that thread before creating this one? And don't you think pinning this thread to top when that other one is already pinned could translate to pinning two threads created for the same purpose?

I understand say that other thread from Igeh is not that active anymore, and he titled it in a way that it's seems specially directed to teleported members, but you and I know say the thread can still serve both teleported and non teleported new users, so, I honestly do not see any need for this new thread, and even suggesting that It be pinned to the top is most ridiculous.

Ige can  do a little touch of editing the old pinned thread to make it appear more general to serve both newly registered and newly teleported members, this one should be locked.

Just my thought and suggestion.

Before I create this one I read Igebotz thread from the beginning to the end and there is no much information on knowing about the Newcomers to the local board and I create this thread because I saw a newbie yesterday talking how he saw the local board and he decided to participate here because we are friendly. And I like to know him more if really he is Nigerian and not. And I wanted to refer him to the thread you mentioned and it is only for teleported members. And oh yes the teleported members can make comments there there and the newly registered member can use this. But if the two can be merged and also fine. And when the newbies come and see that thread "Teleported Members" they leave because they were not teleported and that made me to create this thread. Thanks for your suggestions. Others can also contribute to it.

To avoid issues don’t post in local boards that are not yours - those persons that made posts in other local boards are well known so if any issue should arise they’ll be able to defend themselves why their post were made but the same cannot be said for you.

As for our brother post wey dey Ghana board nah first for here dem make the thread and somehow dem move am go Ghana board (we never still know how) - why the Philippine guy that made a post here was probably mentioned thus the reason he came to our board - if someone mentions you in other local boards you can go there and reply them (but make sure you use English, don’t use auto translate).

Na so, weti you talk nai be di konkon. I never see Igebotz make comments in Ghana local board na me don go make comments, and I also made mentioned of f some of the people out in my comment and dey came here and made comments. And early this year my name was mentioned in Philippines board so I went there to make comments and they welcome me but ordinary I wouldn't go to any other boards and make comments because I am not from there and I won't understand what they are saying. So as Cantsay as said, don't go and post in other people local board except you were mentioned.

I agree with you that if they introduce themselves with this threads a +1 is good because it is free here unlike the other forum that you need to have before giving out. I agree with you that if they introduce themselves with this threads a +1 is good because it is free here unlike the other forum that you need to have before giving out. 1+. Yes. This make them to know that they are welcome in the forum and motivating them also encourage them to participate more. And the main reason of creating this thread is to know the real Naija people and the visitors.. because of di way we use English some users from another boards might come here and claim to be Nigerians. For now the few people that we have in the board are doing well. So in the forum Nigeria board is top 2 active boards in the forum.
