Eth has built its position with its smart contract initiative and EF's efforts over the years; it's not simply a blockchain copying BTC's ideas or other POW blockchains in the market. If Xrp wants to dethrone Eth, it needs a new idea, a new vision, not just a convenient global money transfer network.

Even though Eth is facing many difficulties, many other L1s in the market are still lagging behind in TVL, liquidity, and ecosystem value. As soon as Eth recovers thanks to internal reforms at EF and the Pectra upgrade, investors will FOMO into ETH again and no longer think about Eth's minor issues.

The ETH price chart also gives investors positive expectations for a new ATH this season, it's just a shame we haven't been able to see that scenario play out yet.

Many institutions still only know about ETH. If they need to experience blockchain, they'll prioritize Eth, and if they want to diversify their crypto portfolio, they'll choose ETH after holding a significant amount of BTC. We're seeing ETH slowly drift down after that recovery to 4K USD, but the whales are still consistently buying instead of selling.

SOL and XRP have shown some awesome gains, especially SOL, and it's made the Sol ecosystem super attractive, vibrant, and even stronger than it was last season! ETH might be taking a breather for now, but I think this sleeping giant will wake up soon enough to lead the altseason as soon as the macro economy looks brighter.

Eth in my opinion is one of the best investment for long term. To be honest, I don't mind eth being wherever it is in terms of price atleast in today's date as I see potential of it rising in the future with optimism. It has so many applications and a very solid goodwill.

Solana, XRP and BNB are currently the alternative coins owned by investors because it seems that ethereum is starting to be abandoned, whether it is true or not because I myself do not know the current whale strategy. which usually ethereum will lead altcoins to show good movements. but currently it seems that ethereum is having difficulty doing that. I also agree with you that ADA is also a good choice, so the top coins remain the coins of choice for investment
