Happy new month to you all and from the topic it is clear what this thread is all about. I want to hear what your speculations of bitcoin price are this month. Will it be that we will see bitcoin at 70k price and above by the end of August or we will still see the price being 60k-ish.

Based on what is going on currently with price, are we still going to say it will hit or surpass $70k? I don't really think so, or maybe we should give it more weeks. Anything can happen with price, although if I'm to speculate, I won't think of $70k this month. Maybe early next month we talk about something like that.

We are almost halfway into the month of August and no significant changes have occurred in the price of bitcoin. It is today trading below 60K. Any move that will make it rise above the $70K level before the end of the month will have to be a very big news that will impact that force and move, so I haven’t seen any possibility yet or any incoming news that will impact such a change in the market. So, I will conclude that without any news, it’ll continue trading below $70K and if there’s any that’s accompanied with big impact, it’ll definitely make it trade above $70K.

Well, for my own analysis it might hit $70k or around $69k if you check the chart in daily time frame it's filling FVG and order block after that it bounce and MACD signals weakening downtrend and soon it will turn to uptrend signal.
So within this week we should see huge demand coming that might hit around $69k.

That is a very bullish prediction mate, so far we are having a hard time reaching $60k as this support has been rejected from last week, prices falling to $58k and right now, it's fighting to go that support of $60k. So for now, we might have to retest that price and see how it goes for us. We still have the geo political in the background and it could worsen this month and this could impact the price itself. So first we should focus on $60k first, and if we broke that and maintain, then look at $62k as the next hurdle. If we go past that price then this bullish momentum might continue.

I am really looking forward for BTC to get into the near $70K level and hopefully in September make a new ATH record as more inflows are coming in with ETFs, unlike what is happening in Ethereum ETFs. What is happening right now is showing the resiliency and strength of Bitcoin in the face of many market turmoil. Bitcoin should be the safe haven asset in the time of global economic recession and should not be tied to how stocks are doing...in fact it should start decouple with the current things influencing its price movement.

I am really looking forward for BTC to get into the near $70K level and hopefully in September make a new ATH record as more inflows are coming in with ETFs, unlike what is happening in Ethereum ETFs. Usually if we do base up on the previous runs then it would really be that normal that people would really be that thinking up about on October on which the market would really be that making up some significant movement but we dont know if it would really be happening for this year or on this cycle. This is why it wouldnt really be an assured thing that there would really be a green market into a particular month. It is really that hard to draw up conclusions basing up on the previous behavior but somehow having these kind of checks would really be able to
tell you at least or showing up some idea that you are really that trying to assume that it would happen again.

I agree with you. It is very unlikely to reach $70k in this month because the current price is quite far from $70k. We are in August 17, the current price is around $59k, it is still below $60k. How we can reach $70k, we even still can't cross $60k. Moreover, August isn't a friendly month for Bitcoin if we consider the Bitcoin monthly return. In addition, we also don't have big news that can trigger big increase for Bitcoin price. In my humble opinion, we will be below $65k until the end of this month.

I agree with you. It is very unlikely to reach $70k in this month because the current price is quite far from $70k. We are in August 17, the current price is around $59k, it is still below $60k. How we can reach $70k, we even still can't cross $60k.

Regardless of the month we are in, I don't think that a price increase of about 15% should be seen as something impossible - one moderate pump and there we are at $70k. Some good news can appear at any time completely unexpectedly, so you should always expect the unexpected when it comes to BTC.

However, considering everything, I think that we should be satisfied with the price of BTC at the moment, because considering that most expect a big pump in the coming months, $60k is an excellent starting position towards the new ATH.

I will go first, the month of August might be a month for bitcoin price to reach 70k and above but with the way the price is flaunting, I can't tell if the price will be at 70k or above without correction. We have seen it last week when the price reached 70k but corrected back to 64k as I am typing this post.

Now August mostly completed but today Bitcoin price Near about $60k. I think it will impossible to rich $70k within this August month. It was huge possibility to touch $70k i saw previous market situation but it not increasing like that right now. I think end of the August bitcoin price will near about $64k. Now Bitcoin price upping and downing Between $55k to $65k. I think from now Bitcoin price will increase gradually. And End of the month Bitcoin price will near about $64 to $65k.

Seems like over 60k could be the ending point, I am not seeing any drops happening and that looks like the key here. I am not saying it will be bad, I am just saying that we are going to end up with a greater result eventually, it has to be something that will take a while so I do not see this as a bad deal at all. I know that it is going to take some time, and we are not going to see ATH just yet, but the reality is that we are looking strong so we could probably end somewhere near 65k levels for the time being. Hopefully it can reach there, it would mean a lot more for the September to have the momentum going higher.

You're right. Actually, it is not impossible to reach to $70k, we have few days before the end of this month. But I personally don't think to see the price at $70k in this month although the Bitcoin price could increase to $63,800 today. In my opinion, the highest price of Bitcoin to reach this month around $65k.

However, considering everything, I think that we should be satisfied with the price of BTC at the moment, because considering that most expect a big pump in the coming months, $60k is an excellent starting position towards the new ATH.

Agree, $60k isn't a bad price before we have some pumps again. Bitcoin price already survives above $60k at least. The next movement should be $70k. I'm very sure, in the next 2 months, we may begin to see Bitcoin price above $70k again.

In the price action of Bitcoin from this month, I saw the price are recovering from falling but I'm not so satisfied with it. There is no good volume that supports the increasing of price even though we see a clear up trend in 4h time frame. So if I have money to invest, I will not go all in since I also believe that there's a chance that there will be a big dump before the bull run happens. I am just waiting for the history repeat itself in terms sign of strength.

The 3 times BTC closed the month of September positive (2015, 2016 and 2023), the 3 times BTC also continued to rise in price in the following months of October, November and December
That would be a good indication

For now I'm satisfied with the current price of BTC in August, if it ends up in this 64k range it would be very good.

Good, we ended the month and the price of bitcoin was not even able to hold above $60K, the price was very far from even getting to $70K. Last month wasn’t some kind of good month for bitcoin but maybe we’ll see an improvement in this new month. A lot have started predicting that the ember months, especially September and October are always a good month for bitcoin to witness a good green light. History may be great, but it’s not enough to ascertain the market to go in that direction. For now, I can’t make any assumptions how the market will trade but I hope it won’t be as bad as August.
