Some few observations about luck-based games in comparison to skill-based games.

There is a chance that the nature of the game has something to do with the gender that plays in that game most. There is no official study for this yet, but I am thinking that we will find more females playing and drawn to luck-based games than skill-based games because of how difficult the process of learning skill-based games may be.

Another observation about luck-based games that a new gambler with an interest in them has to know is that they have the potential to make you, as a gambler, spend more money gambling than skill-based games.

What i think that happens mostly is interest why because a point of interest simply justified everything let say for instance as a woman I could grew up in the mix of people who loves sports betting and then I have been so passionate about gambling and I love watching football this doesn't have anything to do with my gender rather personal likeness and choice. There are other people who could like roulette because that is what they have been playing and got used to it and their main interest could only focused on that area.

Perhaps as entrepreneurs such a fact is of interest because you want to establish a betting business, but without a doubt the world of betting handles these statistics, perhaps not directly as you suggest but in association.

I am curious how most casinos in their promotions put attractive women, banners, advertising, photos, social networks, etc. that should attract players  and not for their skills but for their desires.

In my specific opinion, in the game of skill, I have seen women playing BJ and poker with great success, I think the issue comes down to the fact that simply the cultural and social structure is designed for men to bet, the environment and all that.

In my personal statistics, I can say that women play slots more than men.

And in poker there are more men than women.

I do not agree with your observation. Most women participate in card gambling, a skill game, because they have a natural affinity for card games. Whatever gender you are, what you gamble on is determined by your passion. Personally, I am into football betting because I enjoy watching football and have a thorough understanding of the sport. This is the same for other gamblers.

I agree with the first observation but the second is a stretch. I cannot comprehend the relationship between spending and the type of game a gambler plays. I think a person that's good at managing his bankroll will spend within his limit regardless if he gambles on a luck or skill based game.

I think one of the reasons women play less poker than men is men, we had some games nights with co-workers and friends, and the jokes wouldn't stop, and that was in a circle of friends, I can't imagine how it would be in casino, probably 100 times worse unless it's a competition and there are rules on talking and also on.

Most of the women who are skilled at playing cards and other related table family games became skilled at the game because they have no option and were exposed to the game so they had to learn. I am making reference to a new gambler trying to decide which game to play with no pre conceived passion at all for anyone.

This is not the argument, It is not even a comparison of gender. Just an observation from my end that there will be more women playing  luck-based games, than women who play skill based games.

There's no difference between male and female when it comes to what attracts them the most; it goes with the interest of the individual rather than gender, and on your second question,, luck  based games attract the most because they are easy to learn and to do and its very addictive compared to skill based games.

Yes, I have been in conversations at a poker table that are totally "normal" between men, if there was a girl there, the conversation would be less colorful.

But in the professional sense, girls don't have that problem, they are used to it, and if the conversation is about the game even more so, but I tell you it's the same with men, not all of them are willing to chat, etc. They go about their business, so headphones and that's it, play poker.

Recently the most important poker tournament in the world was played, the 10k buy-in NLH Main Event, and some women play it, but seeing some of them reach the final stages is always curious, and not because they are not good at playing, it's because out of 10,112⁽¹⁾ participants (2024), very few are women, but this year Kristen Foxen⁽²⁾ managed to get far, just a couple of positions away from entering the table, but anyone would say, "lucky,"  really not,this girl has managed to win 4 WSOP bracelets.

According to articles regarding gambling addicts, it about the rewards that made those gamblers keep playing the games. The reward is more enticing while the user can bet as little as $0.10 particularly the slot games.

In my country there are local slot games that we could win big rewards with just 1 Peso and we could even chose an easy pattern to easily win.

For me this is random because here in my place women play more on skill based games like card games than men but in Mahjong based on my observation only men play it. In cockfighting here in my area it was random but majority are men and I consider it as luck based game. Slot games does not require any skills that is why men and women are into it even kids like it as well. In lottery it was all the same like random regardless of gender.

Even though a gambler is skilled and experienced, he cannot win games based on skill. That's why I like luck based games where a gambler can easily take part in those bets if only he knows the betting rules and if the gambler can win then he sometimes can win big. In addition to women in this type of gambling, there are many male gamblers who are not very expert in gambling and will focus more on simple luck based games.
