Multiple boards for Raffles confusing...

Just as the title said, multiple boards for raffles and other giveaways is confusing and making people miss the opportunities.

• Random Crypto Giveaway / Airdrop Is the board I have in mind where Raffles are being conducted. I knew about the board from paid2 posts of raffle in the chat. While I restricted myself to that board, I didn't know there is;
  
• Competitions & Contests
  Where I saw Mixero contest and I didn't even know that mixero has been doing BTC price prediction there while Mixtum and Royalmix are in the other board.
  
  The other day, Royse created a post asking where to post a review campaign which was supposed to be in signature campaign board.
  
  In the other forum, services board houses any kind of campaign while games and rounds can accommodate any raffle and the rest.
  Admin please concise and merge some of these child boards for clarity and accessibility.

Yes I also vote for this suggestion, same thing happened to me where I missed some contests because of the confusion of having multiple boards and not being able to track all the boards. I came across Raffles mixero and Royalmix by chance.

It would be better to have all the contests and similar topics in one main board instead of having multiple boards, many members missed contests because of that.

What I understand is that competitions and contests board are for hosting events where participants have to produce something of their own, it is not lotteries or raffles. The assessment of the winner is subjective and determined by the organizer.
But I agree if these two categories are not made into separate boards.

Adding more explanations about the names of the subboards or more details about them would be very helpful.
For example, the forum has a voting section https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=502.0 but most people don't know anything about it.
These boards appear first when using the forum so describing them better would be helpful.

Kudos @op for bringing this topic up, this is a suggestion I also agree with and buy into, one thing I've always believed is that, this forum and the other forums are not the same thing, so; there is absolutely no need or reason for the admin here to copy how things are done from the other forum and bring here, but on the norm, giveaways, contests, raffles, and maybe airdrops too, are all supposed to be on one board, and signature/bounty campaigns all belong in another one board, this way, there won't be so many boards with some of them as good as dead due to inactivity or lack of activity.

So, if admin will really consider this suggestion, it would be nice, but then, this is not something to really be concerned about though.

nice suggestions ops and I am sure that since we have an active admin that take up suggestions that help advance the development of the forum, he will definitely work on this, for I myself have noticed alot of duplicate and complications in the boards arrangement, but what came to my mind is that, every forum have their unique layout, so if I spend more time on shuffling the forum, I should be able to discover and locate those boards which I am not so OK with but if that becomes the only option why not.

But in all I will like to commend the admin of this forum, for having one of the lovely website layout among other forums of it kind, and working extra to take suggestions that help the forum more is what I know he will do anytime.

I think we have already discussed this several times, as far as I understand the bounty section will not change soon. Even if some boards have no activity at all.
It has already been suggested several times to favour the technical part of the forum and the discussion about cryptocurrencies, but the bounty part remained primary and kept its top place on the page.

Your problem would also be much simpler if you had the option of ignoring certain boards, thus reducing confusion.

Now this is a nice suggestion. I'll consider this asap. Honestly, I sought for a board one day for about 5mins and I didn't know where to get it. I know I have seen something like crypto gigs, so I was trying to know where to locate it finally I couldn't 
With ignore board tool, I'll arrange the forum to my test. It will take me less than 30mins to achieve this.

More boards for the same subject do not increase the number of posts or topics. But the opposite: people miss new topics and post less.

Of of the best topic and of the week. Even the campaign managers are confused where to post Reviews and Raffles. And yet people are still asking for the creation of more boards. There should be two boards for campaigns. One boards for bounty campaigns then another board for the signature campaigns so that all these confusion will stop then another board foe raffles. Then things will be set to 98% in the forum from my view point. Then before arranging other things to the appropriate way.

Thanks for discovering one more. And as you rightly said, having more boards for similar topics doesn't translate to more post. But unifying them surely increases activity and engagement.
