Everyone is already collecting points from Trust wallet?

In the latest update of Trust wallet there is an interesting tab where we can collect points every day, also in the future they promise to add other easy tasks for which we can also get extra points - details: https://trustwallet.com/uk/blog/trust-points.

- These points we will be able to exchange for various awards, and the more of them the better the reward.

The project is not poor, so they can reward their users generously, the tasks are not difficult, so we can add +1 daily project to our list.

I did a little research on how to earn those points and found this quote^[1], it's their way of collecting more data about you, this data is useful for airdroppers, scammers, investors and others because by knowing the active addresses they can send you tokens and then add them to tasks to get extra points.

I am not fan of points system, which many projects are riding onto these days; IMO, it's way of farming users, in lure of 'something in future' — which may never arrive and if it does whether the reward will be worth it.

Well, Trustwallet is Binance product as well so yeah, Binance successfully do the job to collect those data from these two different platforms.

Actually, this kind of strategy for users to stay longer on their app is becoming more common either non-crypto related or crypto-related one.

The easier it is, the less rewards we'll receive. I remember getting $1 from one of Binance's event even though they limited the participants to 10 thousands or so, can't really remember. Judging from how many airdrops are popping up recently, I doubt it will result in anything substantial unless you throw a lot of money for this. At the end of the day, whales will likely earn more rewards as usual. Not really surprising considering how often airdrop/farming favours transaction volume. CMIIW.

If it was to stop collecting data it would be less harmful but those points can be used to gain loyalty, meaning if you are active and doing tasks you may be rewarded otherwise you will still try to collect points. Binance will have a whole community trying to win the company's favor to get more points.

The airdropping system is attractive because it provides an opportunity for users to earn free tokens.  Although the reward for each task may be low, if users can collect tokens quickly and easily, they are more inclined to do so. Similarly, Binance and CoinMarketCap use different methods to collect user data, which helps them analyze user behavior and attraction.  by doing  When users receive rewards, they are generally willing to work extra hard.
