Did that option activate itself because the OP downloaded the Tor version for the first time or maybe he activated it himself in the settings? I'm using the latest desktop version and haven't noticed any changes in that regard - and in any case, I wouldn't be happy if my browser looked like that either.

"Betterboxing" is enabled by default, assuming you use Tor Browser 13.5 or newer. There's no way to disable it from "Settings", but i don't know whether it's possible to disable it from "about:config". But you only see that IF you resize your Tor Browser.

For privacy reasons it's recommended to leave Tor as it is. Some websites do browser fingerprint tracking to track you even if you don't accept cookies and use other privacy tools. One of the variables on fingerprint tracking is the size of your browser, which is why Tor looks like this by default.

Let's say that your privacy is much better protected than if you were to use a "normal" browser, even if you were to use it in combination with a VPN.

As for the test, the third result in your case says "Your browser has a non-unique fingerprint", which means that you probably changed the size of the window and that's how you stand out from other Tor users - although I'm not an expert in such things, so maybe I'm wrong. I assume that you can get a perfect result by returning the browser to its default settings.

I don't have any idea of how letterboxing will restrict those who want to take all information and how will they face a hard time getting our data. As screen size doesn't have anything to do with data scrapers. Let's say I have a site and you visit it, and I take some data from it (from you) I can still take data if your browser has side boundaries which they have enabled to avoid accidental touches.

I would like to know more about this fact, as its totally new to me that screen size matters in keeping our browser data safe.

Oh my God, I wish like those of you on the forum it was safer and how do I look for "Default Settings"?

I mean, look at the screenshot above, I've searched for the word "Default" but I haven't found the "Default Settings" button.
This is my weakness for reading but I don't know where the "Default Settings" button for Tor Browser is located.

If you want to return everything to its original state, then the only option is reinstallation. Someone explained it nicely on the following link.

I will only answer simply from your answer is "immediately reinstall" so that it is fresh, safe and comfortable.

Anyways as for your viewpoint problem I really haven't accessed the forum using my PC. However from my speculation the html and CSS of the forum uses an automatic viewpoint adjustment that should fit perfectly to almost any screen.
