Cardano will have Hydra & Chang, will ADA price to the moon soon?

Cardano is a blockchain famous for eUTXO and the impressive price increase of the ADA token in 2021. However, with the stagnation of the ADA price at the bottom, Cardano has no longer been mentioned frequently on the media. However, development and upgrades are still being carried out actively and Cardano is welcoming significant progress with the upcoming Hydra and Chang hard fork upgrades.

• Hydra operates on the Cardano blockchain, functioning as a sidechain capable of handling countless off-chain transactions. This significantly reduces the load on the main Cardano blockchain, enabling faster and more efficient transaction processing. With Hydra, Cardano can serve a wider user base and support more use cases, from DeFi to supply chain management.
• The Chang hard fork focuses on decentralization. The Chang hard fork aims to distribute this power more evenly by allowing delegation of stake to stake pools. By allowing more widespread stake delegation, the Chang hard fork promotes a more decentralized Cardano network.

“After Chang Hard Fork and Hydra, Cardano will be unstoppable. Highest decentralization and unlimited transaction speed while also having one of the highest security,” Cardano advocate Ssebi stated. ^[1]

Although the Cardano network rarely experiences congestion except during the launch of the DEX SundaeSwap ^[2], the introduction of Layer-2 Hydra could also boost optimism in the crypto community, especially for investors interested in ADA this season. Improved decentralization is also important, but I'm less concerned about that, as Layer-2 is the big trend happening now.

I hope this positive news will attract more users to Cardano and potentially support the ADA token price in the market, at least enough for the ADA price to avoid falling back to its previous low of 0.25 USD. More ambitiously, I want to see ADA continue to set new ATH this season, possibly around 7 USD.

1. I have ADA, even though it's not a lot, because I still believe in Cardano potential and role in the future of the blockchain market.

2. Hydra and Chang are significant upgrades that are valuable for Cardano scalability and decentralization. If they are well-promoted in the media and the price goes up, they will definitely be important drivers for ADA price increase during this bullrun.

3. Layer-2 solutions have become popular on Ethereum and BNB. I hope the same will be true for Cardano. Improved decentralization will help Cardano be chosen by large financial institutions with high security requirements.

Charles Hoskinson and IOHK will know how to leverage this opportunity to promote important upgrades Hydra and Chang. I don't think ADA investors need to worry about this. The Cardano community is very large and they also have enough budget to continue supporting the development of this ecosystem.

I'm also more interested in Hydra because it will belong to the L2 trend, while governance is not something that the community really cares about even though DAO was mentioned in 2021. Chang's contributions to Cardano's decentralization will probably only be noticed when large organizations want to leverage Cardano for large purposes such as tokenizing billions of USD in assets.

yes any developments I believe can have a positive impact on any project however I do not think that it will reach super high numbers despite many upgrades maybe even in time with the bull run cardano holders will see some great profits but I would say that we should still control our expectations to not be too disappointed in case

though more people might be more interested in cardano seeing how its team is still very much trying their best to improve cardano in all aspects

I still think the Cardano ecosystem is a sleeping giant. Technical upgrades are definitely most welcome but it remains to be seen how the crypto community responds to it. With a lot of competition in the market, this probably needs more visibility. I don't even see a lot of meme tokens built on this blockchain.

Nice, now we’re using memecoins as a criterion to evaluate a crypto ecosystem I like this viewpoint because memecoins prefer vibrant ecosystems with strong cash flow, and it’s clear that compared to Solana or Ton, Cardano is nearly invisible to crypto users and investors.

Cardano continues to be upgraded throughout the crypto winter, but most of these upgrades don’t really free Cardano from its limitations related to ecosystem flexibility. The rigid criteria related to decentralization and security are limiting Cardano’s potential, for example, they still haven’t found a way to integrate USDT and USDC onto Cardano. I hope that Hydra and Chang can somewhat improve Cardano’s situation, unlock more features, and attract investors and cash flow to this potential ecosystem during next uptrend and altseason.

I don't have ADA anymore, but I will admit that during it's last bull run, I was there and did make a lot of money out of it. But after that, it seems that the price really stagnate for quiet sometime and up to know it is worst at almost -90% from it's last all time high.

Maybe investors have been burn out of ADA or just chooses to go on other promising crypto as the market is changing from old guard to some new and hype and so there are a lot of bandwagons on the latest hype. But best of luck to some holders who truly believed that it can give you a lot of profits this incoming bull run.

ADA is still in the top 10, but yes, it's highest high is during the last bull run and it really pump a lot and one project that really gave a lot of profits. But now it just hanging on the top 10 and not sure if it is still have the hype unless some entities are going to just pump and dump it to their advantage and to make money for them. Unlike before wherein the pump was real and not artificial, in my opinion.

I'm not sure if Cardano can compete with them, I just believe that with continuous upgrades and a huge budget in the Cardano Treasury, Cardano will still have a place in this market. Every investor will have their own assessment of Cardano and ADA's potential this season. Confidence creates holders, while doubts will lead investors to other tokens in the market like BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, TRX, etc. Everything will be verified in the coming months by the fluctuations on the ADA price chart, we won't have to wait too long.

Cardano has simple system but are very easier for retail investors to make money staking unlike the ones you mentioned such as EOS, Tezos and NEO. You don't have to have a huge investment to be able to stake. And this is popular due to Hoskinson.

Fortunately, many BPs have free account creation programs for users through Telegram bots. However, the EOS token is still considered a failed token as it has been abandoned by BlockOne and ENF.

Yeah, EOS failed because of issues with its management (BlockOne abandoned EOS), its budget ($4B wasn't invested in the EOS ecosystem) and its team (Dan had his own vision and left EOS). Cardano doesn't have those problems: IOHK continues to support Cardano development and the Treasury ensures the ecosystem development in the most positive and valuable direction for users.

It's really hard to accurately predict ADA price in this bullrun, I just hope ADA won't be forgotten by crypto investors. If USDT/USDC are integrated into Cardano, the DeFi explosion could easily bring ADA to a new ATH and $5 might not be the price zone that ADA holders would be satisfied with to take profits in 2025, I will wait for $7 to cash-out ^^

platform with a huge marketcap of about $11,2b, it has attracted very many investors, and a big community of platform users globally. Cardano is a well established ecosystem with several upgrades to meet modern demands
However, Ada has experienced low market trends lately and  has also affected the demand for Ada coin. I think that Cardano will always come back stronger because the project has been very consistent as one of the best coin on the crypto economy.
