Is There Really a Hidden Topic?

When I first logged in, I immediately saw the chat feature and found a link provided by member @bitmover , please chek this - https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=323714.msg1610371#msg1610371 but after I clicked on the link I couldn't open it and instead there was a warning like this "An Error Has Occurred!"
"The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you." This is the first time I've encountered this here, what actually happened to the link? Am I the only one who can't access the link?

That means the topic link refers to a thread that has been deleted, resulting in an "Error" output because the post does not exist, aka it has been deleted. Until now I understand a little and can conclude "if the post is deleted by the Moderator, it displays an ERROR.

As already bitmover said that the topic was plagiarized content and delete that topic that is the reason you saw that error. Now I am seeing that it is now restored.

Well, this is what I mean, this is what I'm looking for because I'm interested just to see the writing of the contents of the topic. If the topic is locked or hidden, it makes me curious to see.

This topic is in a Trash bin. All deleted posts are moved there, so there's no conflict in moderation in this case.

I also thought exactly the same thing, I checked the thread in question and discovered it's now moved to the Trash section of the forum, which means the post is as good as deleted as well.

Oh, while typing the above comment, I decided to read further down the other comments before posting mine, and discovered that deleted posts are moved to the trash board, this is great to know and thanks to Jokers for coming through with that explain at.

But I also have a question about comments, if deleted threads are automatically moved to the Trash section of the forum, what about deleted comments, where do deleted comments go please? Just curious.

Good to hear that the resource help you. You can also use the other archived website as well for archiving any website on the internet. And you can see the locked topic in the forum but I hidden I mean there is no word like that hidden topic it will be deleted topics you can see on these archived website.

Deleted comments are going to the same Trash bin as well. There can be an additional level of deleting posts, but for most it is okay to see them and to have a record just in case. Trash board in not visible for guests and SE spider bots and posts in there are not counted, so it is a trash bin as it should be.

It seems that this is indeed a rank factor, because I'm new here and my rank is still low, so there are still many parts of altcoinstalks that are hidden. No, it's not a rank factor as you say. It doesn't matter that now your rank is Jr. Member and that you cannot access certain parts or specific topics of the forum, since legendary or mythical users cannot access either, for example. It is a factor of permissions granted by the administrator to the moderators.

There are hidden threads and topics on this forum that are allowed to specific people like a discussion thread for moderators and admin only. They discuss about things that they can't discuss openly in public it's like a private WhatsApp group where selected members are elected to join it and they talk about specific things.

If that topic is not hidden from us then that topic is not present anymore. I was also a bit shocked when I come to know about hidden topics but it's just the functionality of the forum I don't know if bitcointalk has a hidden section. But I am sure they have.

I was worried about people abusing the trash to rank up lol
