I am launching a crypto blog / news site, looking for a team

I am launching with a couple partners a crypto blog / crypto news website.

Blogs are a drain and take a lot of time and effort, that's why we are launching a group blog, the effort this way will be split, and the revenue as well.

Pros:
- The blog will be linked from altt, and hence get exposure directly.
- A system is in place to properly measure the contributions of each member.
- You would be a super early member of a project that might become big.
- You can use Chatgpt in a moderate way.

Cons:
- It is a new project, thus will take some time to have any revenue - you need to be patient.
- Unless you really understand crypto and what is happening in crypto, you can't contribute > not a place for noobs.


I am looking for writers willing to be active and frequently post about what is happening in crypto.
The posts do not have to be long essays, but they need to be frequent (once a day or 4-5 times a week)

technical specs:
- For now it's using wordpress as blogging platform.


there is a system in place that grants points based on the content. And these points will be used to transparently split the revenue the blog gets among the few writers.

Posts should be in English, but if you can contribute in other languages also I'm interested.
revenue split will only be available once we start making revenue (a specific formula will be established, and all members contribution is available for team members directly from profile).

Wow.. great move... However, can we know how many writers you need?? If it is a lot, we can assume that you want to create as many content as possible on the blog. so maybe many people will apply for those who like to write content on their social media.. and if the writers you need are not many, we can assume that you are looking for professional and experienced talented writers... at least this is enough to help us measure ourselves whether it is worth applying as your writer or not...

your content should be readable and clear, and you can use chatgpt for help when it comes to presenting the ideas.
usually people lose interest quickly, so those who will stick won't be a lot i think

If you launch a crypto blog, it's a good step to speed up the crypto space and promote altcoinstalks as well. I was a content creator, but my theme and niche were about discovery and other things. But I stopped for many reasons, although I have some content about Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

However, I can restart being a content creator or vlogger to create content for something you want to explore and give updates on what is happening in the crypto space or in Bitcoin. but once again, it was a great step you took, admin.

I managed notatether.com for three years.

I had also assembled a team to run the operations but it was ultimately unprofitable because I could not grow it big enough.

How do you intend to be handling the promotion and advertisement? You need a large budget for that nowadays to even rank for crypto keywords.

Yeah managing a blog is really tough. That's why distributing the effort might make it tolerable.
for promotion, one of the partners have put a budget that will be used for video content creation,
the site will also be linked from altt , hopefully that should be enough to get things rolling.
for sure you can not count on overnight success, but with time we build things.

Don't you think it will eat the traffic of this forum as well? Like people would be posting news there now here anymore. I mean not everyone is going to leave this forum's news sections and go there. Although I if create news considering the reward and effort I will definitely go for the blog you will make.

Because I can use that as my portfolio if you will give a byline or signatures etc. and considering the traffic of this forum that site can at least get half of it and that's enough to generate money from whatever ads agency you are going to register with. I would love to write SEO-Optimized articles but not news I hope in future you will be interested in SEO content as well.

it is just a blog, not same traffic as the forum
but also it's a 2 way traffic,
and for sure allows members joining to diversify
i don't see it as breaking the community but rather consolidating

If the traffic is coming from search engines and SEO is being applied then there should be no noticeable effect in the forum traffic, as it will ultimately be coming from other sources most of the time.

Users are going to spend the most time on the platform that gives them the most attention, so I don't see anything to worry about here.
