Specially low caps but we do know that there are really those people who do really love on dealing or spotting low caps because they do know about the potential profits that they can get is really that much more better in compared into to those who make out some position on top altcoins but well its common sense that when it comes to confidence and security of investment then this is where we can trust up these old coins in compared to these altcoins but of course there are those who do really want up to have bigger amount of profits and this is why they would be making out these considerations on which its not bad either. I think you are correct, altcoins are more risky than Bitcoin especially on Trading, though the risk also spread to investing, but it depends on the investments options, for example, long term investments.
However, the major reasons why altcoins poses more risk to than Bitcoin on investing/trading is because Bitcoin drives the crypto market on a regular intervals. It obvious that each time Bitcoin goes dip, it brings altcoins tovs new LOWs, unfortunately, most altcoins hardly recover before another New Lows.
