Scammers know that they waste no time, and it's an opportunity when they find a hole in someone to prey on. Those are smart; that's why the only usual victims are people who have no awareness of what the scammers are doing.

Thank you, Op, for the reminders you gave here on the subject you did. As long as you can triple the caution because those scammers suddenly appear when we don't expect it, at least if we are prepared and aware of the moves, they will not make us victims for sure.
And scammers will always find loopholes to deceive people. because they certainly use many tricks so that people can be deceived and do not realize that they are being deceived, that often happens and I have also experienced this with a scam that offers many benefits, finally I got trapped and lost assets in my wallet, this has happened in the past.

Not only you, many people are also deceived when they first got to know crypto, because scammers have been around since the beginning of crypto. either through the ethereum network, BSC, TTron etc. Currently we see the solanan and TON networks also have many scammers. so we really have to be careful.

It is the nature of scammers to deceive and always look for loopholes to scam people of their hard earned resources. However, even with their tricks, it can still be detected that anything which is not real would be so promising for one to see the fake and ill intentions of the scammers behind such but greed and the quest to get more would not allow people to see it for themselves till they fall into the trap and get scammed.

Fraudsters will continue to exist with new methods. It's no wonder that many of them offer benefits with free lures at the start. And give you a small profit that makes you believe in them and that's where your mistake lies when you fall for their bait
In this world there are many the way smart people abuse their intelligence by deceiving other people. And the people they target are people who tend to prefer instant things over effort. Because fraudsters will tempt them with the promise of profits wrapped in beautiful words. so that people can be interested and end up being deceived

All the people should try to help each other and don't get greedy.

Being vigilant is what should be the priority of everyone who is in this space and nobody owes anyone such obligation except if you are being paid to do such. Lucky enough for you, if you have good people around you who are always abreast of developments and information, you could get updates from them regularly and from time to time but however, you as an individual should always make efforts and attempts to be updated.

Helping each other is not a bad idea, some people are not just good at helping, they just keep things to themselves and them alone and sometimes, some people do not share information as a result of their experience in the past. All these factors put together some times causes why people do not get information and on the other side why people do not bother giving out information but on our own, we have a to put efforts to get updated.

Yeah, the worst thing is that nothing can really be made about it because of the contracts and the nature of the blockchain as a whole.
If a person accepts something, it goes through. That's why it's very important to stay responsible and double-check everything you use and sign for.

Not only you, many people are also deceived when they first got to know crypto, because scammers have been around since the beginning of crypto. either through the ethereum network, BSC, TTron etc. Currently we see the solanan and TON networks also have many scammers. so we really have to be careful.
Most, those who have problems with bounties or the like will most often get scammed, because scammers usually change, like admins by wanting to help with the difficulties faced by providing a form for us to fill in, where the form actually takes us to a wallet connected to the scammer and takes it. But there are also those who are not careful in opening any news that has a link where the link will direct us to provide a wallet to be taken.
Yes, scammers have been around since the beginning of crypto, where crypto is considered to be produced, but the network that is sought is the one that is often used and BSC is the one that often happens and maybe later it will spread to TON, which is also busy now.

The problem is that scammers always appear with new faces and methods. People involved in crypto get scammed at least once in their crypto journey, no matter how experienced they are. This mostly happens because they don't pay attention. We know how scammers' traps work, yet we fall for these traps. As I said, it happens because sometimes we get too busy and do not pay attention.

For example, I was scammed a couple of months ago by phishing. It's not like I didn't know how phishing works. However, it happened because I did not double-check the URL before connecting my wallet. That mistake drained my metamask wallet.
This is bad to learn of. You can imagine what you are really afraid of to happen you, later happening to you because you failed to double-check the URL before connecting it with your crypto wallet.

This mistake can happen to anyone though, that's why it's been advised to set aside a crypto wallet in which you have no crypto coins so that you won't be affected if you connect your wallet to scammer's wallet link

Agreed, It is especially crucial to prevent fraud when managing crypto wallets, as seasoned professionals recommended doing. The best advice is to always ensure that you check the URL and the platform before connecting your wallet. First, the site should be official and, second, it should have good protection measures. It’s also possible to apply a browser extension or application that enables one to determine the authenticity of the URL in use. Also, having a second wallet a ‘cold’ wallet, with no money in it, is a good idea, as an added measure of security. Thus, if you follow the link of a fake site, your assets will not be at a risk as your main wallet allows you to ensure your money’s safety. This is significant attempt to mitigate risk in the crypto world which is notorious for scams and hacks.

Re: Watch Out for Crypto Scams!

I agree with you, it is better if you join an event, airdrop or anything that links our wallet to a link, don't use the main wallet. It is better for us to create a new wallet because it is very risky, there are many scammers there. I was also fooled when I was just starting to learn airdrop and linked it to my wallet so I lost my assets. From reading the comments of the members here, I finally understand that we should always be careful.

Main wallet only for holding cryptocurrency assets and if want linked to airdrop project better use other wallet without holding much assets there, but recently many kinds or retro airdrop required for holding assets and must be careful when linking wallet with third platform are trusted or not.
Usually loss assets by linking fake website or joining scam airdrop without realize we have link our wallet with scam website, I think before joining an airdrop or make bridge assets at third platform must read carefully there are trusted site or not?

It all happened due to my laziness. I was careless when I was reading that email. As I said in my other post, It was midnight, and I was scrolling social media. I received an email from Galaxy, which is a kind of airdrop hub, and It was an exclusive email that was created to do airdrops. So, I did not doubt the email and did not check who the sender was.

The irony is that I used to suggest everyone not connect their wallet and not trust the emails they received. But I failed to follow what I suggested to others. This simply proves that anyone can be trapped, no matter how experienced they are.
