I received an email from Galaxy, which is a kind of airdrop hub, and It was an exclusive email that was created to do airdrops. So, I did not doubt the email and did not check who the sender was.

The irony is that I used to suggest everyone not connect their wallet and not trust the emails they received. But I failed to follow what I suggested to others. This simply proves that anyone can be trapped, no matter how experienced they are.

Sad to hear you got scammed Galaxy is really a trusted site and I don't know how many airdrops I have joined on them, but to avoid myself from getting scammed, I use this extension, Vstat which tells me the actual or almost the number of visitors the site is getting, so whenever I doubt a site, even the Galaxy because sometimes I visit Galaxy website which doesn't have any visitors, which means the site is new and might belong to spammers, so I don't connect my wallet there and try to find the real site.

I have recommended this many times to others that we must see the number of visitors and never join airdrops when we are not having it means when we are not thinking straight and that time is mostly at night. Although it can cost us a lot too but it saves us too.
