Ethereum should be doing better comparing to other coins in terms of technology, it is a fact that many ICO like to use ethereum to generate their coin i believe they use ethereum is because they see the future in it. However i am confused that ethereum price is going lower and lower.

But all of these other new coins or alternative cryptocurrencies that you are saying are just a clone of the Bitcoin blockchain system
with some added features and stuff in it. All of these are a copy paste of the main technology and there is no chance that this clones
will replace Bitcoin on the top spot of capitalization unless they create something more useful than Bitcoin's blockchain technology in
my opinion.
