Personal Messages sort order

When I go to my PMs section, I always find the PMs in a weird order. I don't know if it's arbitrary, or if it's by name, date ascending, or whatever, but it makes it really hard for me to read my messages whenever I receive a new one.

I believe it should be sorted by default on date descending like other forums. It's bold because I do not know if there is a setting that lets me do this, but it's very annoying like I said whenever I see PMs and I have to manually sort them.

It seems you probably haven't toggled around the from settings and profile modifications on your end probably you would have noticed it . Of course I agree the PM's are quite messed up let's just say it's similar to that of bitcoin talk . Most times you find out on bitcoin talk that you literally need to quote a message  before replying to it else you give your receiver a hard time sorting out or trying to find which PM you are referring to in particular.
With that being said you can sort out your PMs here on ALTcoins with different formats. You can sort it out in more like a chat form so that all PMs to a distinct users a separated instead of the usual pile up of all PMs.
Just toggle over to your profile then look for messaging settings. You should get the window below. You can adjust it to your preference from here.

I read your message in a somewhat different tone. Maybe it's just me. I just pointed out the part where "lol" is at the start and the "yeah yeah" part. When I read that it's somewhat not right to me. No worries.

Oh no offence I type like that sometimes and when I do so I don't mean to sound offensive or something rather see it as me trying to be a like funny or say playful with the discussion. You know sometimes it's easier to learn new things in a fun way sometimes being too serious doesn't really help.
Hmmm this got me thinking could someone else have had same opinion towards a couple of my posts and thus saw a negative Karma necessary. I guess I'll reduce my lol maybe smileys and emojis will do just fine. Thanks for the heads up though.

By "weird order," you might mean that the latest messages are appearing at the bottom of the list shown at the front. This was never a problem for me, as I don't receive that many messages, but recently...

I don't know if this helps, but I played around with the message section, and you can change the order of the messages you receive by clicking on the "Date" column.

We can also change the order from ascending to descending, whichever you prefer. Besides sorting by date, you can also change the order of messages by clicking on the "Subject" and "From" columns, which can also be arranged in ascending or descending order.



"Subject" and "From" won't be of great help, but "Date" will be. I am still understanding what's the meaning and purpose of "Change view" icon in the leftmost side of the images.
