Build Industries and Limit Worship Centres.
« on: September 01, 2024, 11:18:06 AM »
This is something that has been on my mind for a while. Nigeria has an alarming number of worship centers. In fact, I am forced to admit that the proliferation of worship centers is one of Nigeria's problems. The majority of the spaces where worship centers are built could have been used to set up a factory. When a factory is established, no matter how small, people are employed, which helps to address the issue of unemployment.

Also, if industries increase, people will spend more time working rather than worshiping. The truth is that when people work, the economy grows, whereas worship does not bring prosperity to a country. If we want to compete with developed countries, we must begin to think and act rationally.

As a result, I believe that worship centers should be limited and subject to taxation.

What do you think?

I totally agree with you on this critical matter you raised because the way and manner worship centers are being built is alarming and as there are no street without a worship center . Infact religious business is now one of the biggest business people can go into in this part of the world as there's no qualifications and regulations to it .
That's why we can't develop because we are not a serious minded people,
Well you can't even blame the people because government has failed in it basic responsibility of creating jobs and setting up industries where people can be mainfully engaged

I think that we should pay much more attention to how resources should be used in the future for the increased common economic benefit. Here, using land for purposes that will accord job front and other supportive causes in the economy could be a solution. As earlier demonstrated by the numerical improvisation, more jobs shall be created through more industrial development, leading to improved issue of unemployment. Besides, if we strive for economic development hard working using productivity of course, such outcomes will be more realistic for the further development of the country as a whole.
