The Bitcoin halving ended a few months ago and according to previous history, 2025 could be a major bull run in the crypto market. Recently the crypto market seems to be down for a few days and the price of Bitcoin is below $60k so this could be a great opportunity for us to build some holdings for 2025.  Because now if we can buy and hold other potential coins including Bitcoin from such a down market, then it will be possible to get a good amount in the Bull Run of 2025. So my strategy is to buy as many cryptos as possible in this down market and wait for the bull run and my target will be to make at least 50% profit.

Invest more and hold for the coming months, this is the plan and strategy of most investors who have the information that 2025 will be an even better year for cryptocurrency than this year. There was a lot of high hopes for this year because of the news of the halving, for some new investors who had high expectations and invested heavily in bitcoin to profit have been discouraged out of investing in it because the halving did not go for them as they thought. These set of new investors do not care about next year 2025 and we should not be like them because we know better.

I think 2025 is the best year to take profit because in 2026 there is a high possibility that the market will go down. Though this is just my own speculation but we all know that market might change it's trend and could possibly hit my guess however there is also high chance of it to reverse but I think I am gonna stick to my speculation this time and wait if it will be accurate or not.

some people says if you already hit your target price you can already take profit. they are right about this as well than not taking profit and wait for another bull cycle. but its an opportunity loss once again for you.

some say you gotta wait for the right time. the right market exit is hard to time like when the price is at its peak. the ATH they say and there is a way to determine when is the ATH but mostly they just use the RSI since it also predicts.

It's almost impossible to time the peak of the bullrun that's why I think it's better to have a more realistic target and sell in portions. Anyway, there's no strategy that fits all investors. Have something that works for you and stick to the plan.

I think that you will be creat a best useful comments in your topic. I also believe that 2025 will be best opportunity for cryptocurrency trader. Because if we follow in cryptocurrency market, we can see that crypto market is a little down now. We also see that bitcoin price is down in $60k. So i believe that it is the high-time for hold or invest in cryptocurrency market. If we can hold bitcoin and other profitable coin, i think that we will be able to earn best profit to 2025.

My strategy looks simple behind the market condition not stable yet keep purchasing as much possible when correction moment and sell later after profit increasing few percent without waiting until 2025.
Current market unpredictable after success recovering higher price easily get significant correction and I won't take risk become long term holding.
Seems simple take profit although few percent and keep consistent than hold it for long term but we face many time correction should be moment to buy back again, less capital I think better take profit as soon possible and then buy back later if bitcoin or altcoin going down.

some would have greater goals due to greater initial investments while some will have relatively less ones i think we should have a set goal of when should we take profit and if you believe that it’s not yet the peak price but there’s already a risk in keeping all your funds then you can take just at least 50% and let the rest grow if it does that way you have minimized loss and have taken profit already

Even after 2025 there is no bullrun, are there still those who are optimistic and hold it until 2026? You need to be careful in making decisions, because usually the middle between halving moments is a moment of price correction and is usually used as a buying period...

In addition to the time target, maybe what needs to be considered is our profit target too... don't be too greedy until you look for the peak... believe me, it will make you regret it later.... so the final time target to be able to sell must also be determined, for example Q2 2025 while the price target is for example $90k/BTC... depending on which one is achieved first. Yes it is good idea to buy Bitcoin in 2024 and hold it until 2025. If the price goes up we could make a lot of money. But we have to remember that the cryptocurrency market is unpredictable and Bitcoin does not always do what we expect. It is good to hope that price will go up in 2025 but we need to be careful and understand that many things can affect market. I am not sure what will happen in future but I hope that if we all think positive it could actually happen.

And if you ask me so I am just holding everything. Means if I am getting any airdrop tokens so I am holding them too. Until I am waiting for the bull run. And I hope it will happen soon and we will get more profit.

I usually advice people to make sure that before they invest into Bitcoin, they should take note of the bought price and should also set a target price that they would want to sell. We all know that we are expected the price peak of Bitcoin in 2025 to reach above $120k but no body can certainly tell if the price of Bitcoin will get to $120k in 2025 and even if anyone believes that the price of Bitcoin will reach that speculated price, they can not say for sure, the month, the time and day of the week that the price will come, therefore it is important to set a selling price. If for example, you start DCAing BTC when the price was $40k, you can sale some fraction if the price gets to $80k - $90k, then sell some fraction when it goes above $100k. That's how I have set up my selling  plan.

So you want us to book profit in May or April months of the 2025 I also think market will be on its peek at that time but at that time there will be so confusion about the peek point as we can't time the market and can make a full profit so I liked the plan of booking profit in parts till 2025's March or April maybe more given the situation is in favor but I must say if you as a investor was to exit the trade or holdings then that time will be the last chance or else we might have to wait for the next halving.

I also plan to book in parts but this halving +14 months was not my plan but if you think it a good thing then also share the details of why I assume you are taking old charts and patterns of the market into account because previous bull run also last that much and BTC made new ATH after that much time.
