I think there is short or long time horizon on Bitcoin investments, and everything concerning Bitcoin investments depends on individuals strategy. There are also institutional investors that hold Bitcoin like an assets on their company balance sheet, while there are individuals investors that has long term holding plans.
In addition, I believe everyday on the economy is an open opportunity for investment, and no time is late to start investing in my opinion.

i couldn’t agree more because i believe the best time to invest in bitcoin is when you are ready to do so the first chance you get to buy bitcoin is when you should buy it and ideally we should hold it long term to make sure that you get maximum profit as well as security but we all have different needs and goals so whatever your strategy is just make sure it is something you can stand for and not regret later on

If you have the money to buy bitcoin, first make analyses and be sure that you are not buying at the wrong time. It is better to wait until the price has fallen if the price has significantly increased. This is better than to buy bitcoin at all-time high.

There is no specific time to buy Bitcoin, but always try to buy when the price is low, because if we buy Bitcoin at a low price, we will get more profit later. If you want to make the investment for long term then I would say it is still right time to invest in Bitcoin, but the year 2023 and end of 22 was the best time to invest in Bitcoin for long term.
However, I will not say that there is no opportunity to invest here because Bitcoin is not in bear season because still Bitcoin has the potential to be two to three times more profitable if invested for long term.  Because the bull season has not yet started, it is expected that it can start at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025.  Moreover, if you want, you can now continue investing in Bitcoin for the long term by following the DCA strategy.

This is of course just your opinion, because for some new people, four years is a period of time that can be considered a long period of time... everyone has a different starting point in their investment journey, so we cannot generalize each person's investment time frame.

For me, four years for bitcoin is different from four years for stocks... this is because I am still considering the fluctuations of both types of assets... I also cannot provide an ideal benchmark, because I am still in the testing period of holding Bitcoin for 1.5 years. So in my opinion, holding BTC does not have to be in accordance with that time frame, because market conditions are really changing very quickly.

It takes a leap of faith to buy Bitcoin for the first time and even more leaps to hold even during the dips. Most people might be seeing this period as a losing streak but the truth is that it's the best period to accumulate a lot of BTC to your portfolio. We don't know when next the bearish market will be approaching. So the best time to buy is now no time for contemplating or thinking if it's the right thing to do or not. It's a normal slangs in BTC investment to buy the dips and hold and we are currently in the dips where anyone who still wish to buy has an advantage to do so.

I don't hold bitcoin for 4 years, because for me it's too long. I usually make a purchase 3 years before bitcoin experiences a bullish season, I hold it for 2-3 years if it has reached the target I want I will sell it and will buy it back when the bitcoin price experiences a correction and I will do it repeatedly until the bullish season. That's the strategy I do.
but if I have a large capital maybe I will do both long-term hold until the bullish season, maybe for 3 years without trading.

I would say that everyday is an opportunity to buy Bitcoin or even any other good coin in the crypto market. Now, since we all want to maximize our investments we are looking for the time when there is a big dip in the price of Bitcoin...as they say, invest when you can smell blood in the market. Unlike other assets, Bitcoin is know to have a good rebound rate so even if there can be risks involved the possibility of rewards can be good here. just make sure that you have the money to invest...hold for 4 years as you are suggesting or better yet forget your BTC until 10 years after...who knows by 2034 the price of each BTC can already be 1 million dollar or at least half of it.

Just do it each month no matter the price, the market will not forget about you and the boons from it will be there in no time.
Freeze the funds that you are okay to use and see them grow like going from winter to summer.
