Guilty pleasure to me is what other people do to enjoy life despite the fact that they are aware of the dangers in doing such, a good example are those found in the category of smoking, drinking liquor and other abnormalities in which they enjoy doing and derive pleasure in it, but are quite aware of the dangers that is involved in doing them, it may be hurting but they may prefer endurance because of the fantasy of pleasure found in it.

For every guilty pleasure, there is always something enticing about it and that keeps you glued to it that you neglect the numbers of so many reasons that requires to to stop but you keep going on with them because of that excitement you derive when engaging in them. I may not be able to think of any now, but I know there are sometimes I really want to do something and don’t care what people view about it since it’s making me happy. Those type of joy derived from them are sometimes not what we should look into, but the after effect of that action which we mostly neglect for pleasure sake.

smoking and drinking are such activities that are seriously detrimental to one’s health and thus must be avoided and people who does such things get judged by other people which might make it a guilty pleasure for others some guilty pleasures are harmless while some like the one you mentioned are not and will result in serious consequences

Watching wrestling even though people say is scripted, I still derive the feelings of excitement from it. Wrestling is a full time entertaining for everyone, but to some kids is they visualize it as nightmare, to some adults, a waste of time, full of acting not wisdom oriented. For people like me, I can stay up late at night just for the entertainment.

i quite enjoy it as well though i never got the impression that it is scripted but let’s be honest many sports get accused of being rigged or something similar it is very common in competitions but as long as it is still entertaining then i don’t see nothing wrong for keeping on watching

Hmmm. I guess mine's spending more than what's recommend sitting in front of my computer even though I know the complications and the negative effects that I can get in the long run. It's considered guilty pleasure right since I'm spending most of my time playing online games in front of my computer.

It isn't as dangerous as the effects when you're smoking or drinking or whatever it is, but still there's a negative effect of it towards myself. I'm already feeling some already like my knees are becoming weaker and weaker, I can't run too much anymore because of lack of endurance and stamina, and many more.

I would also go with wrestling, mostly stuff from wwe and aew. Even though, it took my all passion for the sport away when I realized that match results were pre-determined, and matches themselves were choreographed.

I tried watching real fighting i.e, UFC, it was rather boring for me.

My own guilt pleasure is gambling because a lot of people in the society frowns at it but I derive pleasure and fun when I am gambling. However, too much of it is bad because you can get addicted.

I have the kind of thing in the past that I still have the coins forgotten by crypto community already. No one ever talk about it anymore 🤭

I have plenty tokens in my wallet from airdrops and bounties, many being already zero and some worth some dollars, and I can say for myself that they are there because it's not worth it to sell them, if all of them go to zero, it doesn't matter to me.

I only sell them when amount is significant enough to bother.

My own guilt pleasure is gambling because a lot of people in the society frowns at it but I derive pleasure and fun when I am gambling. However, too much of it is bad because you can get addicted.

Gambling should make you feel any kind of guilt simply because a society who who have gotten the wrong perception of gambling frowns at it. Gambling isn’t evil as many feel it is, jut like every other activities, excessive of it can be disastrous and that’s why people get addicted to it, they get too engrossed to gambling and end up spending too much time and resources to it, thereby unlocking the negative side of it, and instead of having fun while doing it, they get quite the opposite results and end up spreading the wrong message to the society about gambling and they also pick up this mentality and generalize it, making it look like a bad thing.

Mine is definitely when playing mobile games for way longer than I should. Even though some people say they’re a waste of time or too easy, I still get totally hooked. It is hard to stop once I start, especially when I’m close to beating a high score.lol

Been there. I guess this is common for people age 25-33 or something, playing mobile games even though you know you have some responsibilities to start or to finish with especially at work or at home.

Mine is when i annoyed my wife. Haha.

& ^ & Mobiles games, ah I love them. People usually have perception of Candy Crush and things like that when you mention mobile games, but the gaming sector on mobile also has evolved a lot in recent times with games like PubG, CODM and recent Warzone Mobile. I don't see them any less than console gaming.
