Answering to this post does not increase post count. You would imagine that in a democracy, people would try to improve and try to progress.
You are wrong, democracy is not about that, it's about having the freedom to live in shit huts if the majority decides to.
In a way, the bigger the democracy is, the farther from ideals it goes.
example: Do a big survey in any big democratic country, ask them:
Would you rather that we invest x amount to establish a moon base that would allow us further space exploration, or each citizen gets 50$/200$ next month ?
I bet that in most democratic countries, the answer would be: give me the money.
I have been developing a theory, for sometime about politics and democracy, but honestly this event threw me off-guard, and made me question my beliefs in democracy.
the event i am referring to is:
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=324219.0In an ideal world scenario, people would be happy to accept the challenge, and try to improve their posting, and maybe put more effort learning.
Knowing that such a system will also be good for the community as a whole, but also increase the interest and get advertisers and get signature campaigns.
In reality: this will mean less chit chat, and less long posts about general matters, that quite honestly does not bring any value. More time would be needed to check news of the industry, learn, and maybe double check before posting or asking. That would increase x times the amount needed to produce a post.
Like in capital driven democracies, capital driven forum participation is not seeking the moon base but rather seeking the quick buck.
I have been writing a book about the political system, and this threw a wrench in my theories, it has shown how gullible my assumptions were, the book is scrapped and a whitepaper will be out instead, hopefully soon.
