You would only lose money in BTC if you sell at a loss or if your coins are hacked, even if the price drops, you have to be patient and continue holding your coins. BTC has real world use cases, there is constant demand for it and the supply is capped, i don't see any reason to be worried about losing money when you're holding BTC, it is not like altcoins that can just disappear.

Why be afraid? It's normal for Bitcoin prices to drop sometimes, but they don't stay down forever, the price also goes up.

If you compare it to last year, the price of Bitcoin is still higher now. So, why be scared?
Did you buy Bitcoin when it was around $70k?
If you bought BTC at that price then now you are losing you better make a profit on ups and downs the price right now ranges from 52k to 60k always buy it at a low price and this is not the end of Bitcoin we are still expecting to see a massive demand maybe this coming December or January next year.

So long as you do not panic and buy when the price is low and ensure that your coins are secure, the chances of losing money are kept to the bare minimum. BTC has already been in the market for quite some time and is used to ensure actual services and goods, which makes it less risky compared to altcoins.

For those that have been in the crypto space for a long time they know that bitcoin is a long-term investment it's not something you invest in and hoping to make you rich overnight, you have to give yourself a target and a particular period of time you want it to get to. Understanding that bitcoin is a futuristic currency that will make you financially stable would increase your confidence and you wouldn't need anyone to convince or persuade you to invest in it. Yess!! Bitcoin is really getting bigger my friend, with big companies buying in and the supply running low but people selling is keeping the price down for now but even with that, I am still confident it is going to boom and be a huge success in the future. I am not too worried about losing money though, i actually feel like it is a good time to buy more. believe me, Bitcoin has a strong future ahead for all of us.

With the way things are with Bitcoin, one can lose money big time if he would be joining the sell pressure and not to continue on HODLING for the future. Usually, Bitcoin hodlers are very confident on the future of Bitcoin...many are looking for it to be priced a million each though this can be taking a lot of years. And this is where the rub is...the waiting game. Some people could not wait due to some reasons only they know and that is why they let go especially if they already see some potential profit that can be made.
