Complaint about the News ticker

feel free to voice you disagreement with having the news ticker.

first let me defend it:
1- it has strategic importance, as the integration with 365 crypto allows us to get more investors type users and more technical users, both of which we need for our forum to thrive.
2- the ticker is small and is located only on main page, thus not really a big annoyance.
3- it will allow users to stay updated with what's happening.

The news bar should be 1 line If you are seeing it like bullet points, please press Ctrl +F5 /Ctrl + Refresh/ close reload browser

The way it slides across the screen reminds me of the 1990s, it's annoyng, tacky and the pause button is far from a "stop forever" button which is frustrating. This would be better not moving for starters, followed by being merged side by side with chat where it'd fit well imo. Both the chat & news ticker are too wide, so there is an obvious solution here to split the width of both and have side by side for aesthetic purposes.

It's a mess in mobile browsers it cover most of the page, as well as clicking the pause button the text remains where it stops and it looks more messier.

Instead of "Pause" button, how about a "Hide" and "Show" button? Give people an option to hide it since there is already "365Crypto a blog for Altt users" text ad in the top of the forum.

Using a chromium-based browser I just law a bullet-point list of around a dozen news topics moving across the screen taking up a lot of space!

If it were a single line moving across the page below the chat I wouldn't be as opposed...

We recently discussed raising the quality of the forum, now we are getting something opposite. I don't know how others use the forum, but I often go back to the main page to go to another section. So, this function bothers me.
But as I said, your forum, your game. I'm not going to push myself into it any further.

btw. You've removed it now, but I believe most users didn't even see it, so you won't have a larger sample of opinions.

I suggest to remove the scrolling (marquee effect), it's oldy kind of look of a website tbh and it broke the page. A static bullet points is enough and okay, and limit it to 10 titles only.

Renaming the .css file will probably fix that issue, as well as adding the file version.

Now it looks fine, only the "Pause/Play" button color to make it relative to the forum's themes.

To be honest, I don't even like the way this looks, although maybe with some additional settings, it might be acceptable to the majority. My idea would be that if we already have a chat, we could use it to insert news from time to time - it would not be irritating in any case, and everyone could get access to the content from the blog.

Of course, I assume that in this way the links would not have strategic importance, but that's just an idea that came to my mind.
