When i click "Pause" and then click "Play", all current text got removed and start showing again from right side. Is it the intended behavior?

Also, it would be good to add these things to the cache, so I don't have to pause/play after each new opening of the main page. The browser could remember the choice for subsequent visits/refresh.

Admin, in my opinion, the idea to link to your new blog is not bad.

However, the design is bad. Too long, too many information, and it doestn fit the page well.

I can't even read the posts you want to show, because they are moving!

Why don`t you make something discrete, which would cycle (only when reloaded) the main articles like this:



Or jus add it to the news on the far right corner (there is already a "News"). I think you are trying to promote way too much information in the front page....

first let me defend it:
1- it has strategic importance, as the integration with 365 crypto allows us to get more investors type users and more technical users, both of which we need for our forum to thrive.
2- the ticker is small and is located only on main page, thus not really a big annoyance.
3- it will allow users to stay updated with what's happening.

I am sorry, I don't think that you will get the results you are expecting.

looking at the news, there isn't even one technical article. All of them are just other news that you can read elsewhere...


your forum achieved significant growth recently, mostly because BTT left mixers community "homeless".

I don't this is the time to be too bold and make radical changes. The mixers community that just joined the forum made many relevant suggestions, and AFAIK just a few were implemented.

I think it is time to be conservative about forum changes.

Scrolls in one line. On Chrome on PC and Safari on mobile.

I would agree with bitmover. Too many titles, everything goes too fast and it's quite tiring to follow. However, it is much more acceptable compared to the first version.
If it is possible to avoid scrolling at all, after each refresh there should be a different random article, or the most popular, the newest... For me, it is a completely useless option in this form.

Also, the info "...press Ctrl +F5 or Ctrl + Refresh..." could be more discreet. it is more dominant than scrolling text. Maybe you should put it in some form on-hover hint or something like that.

Currently, only three mixer signature campaigns are active, with very little activity from mixer owners. Maybe I'm too pessimistic, but doesn't look like forward progress.
I would think more about improving the quality of the forum than about the implementation of promoting a completely new platform. But that's just my opinion.

but, it is needed to achieve growth
there are 600 million crypto holder, a tiny fraction of them are on btt, and a small fraction of btt users are on our forum
moving forward is not hiding in a shell, it is being bold.
i will later slow the scrolling a bit, and the text above the scroller will be removed in 1 week, when all the css cache would have been updated user side

Gotta say not a fan of the bright colour, and the text is moving too fast to read comfortably as bitmover said. The suggestion of having it in the top left corner cycling through article titles does sound better to me, but also aware since you've put your effort into making the news ticker that you're not going to change that now.

Kind of agree here, we should be consolidating the current growth (as well as the forum itself) rather than trying to capitalise on it too aggressively.

Where are the suggestions that weren't implemented? I agree it'd be worth implementing these rather than new ideas generally speaking.

I mean it's definitely not backwards compared to previous years, but it's not continuing to grow either.

i have been on this forum since 2017
i have seen multiple up and down activity cycles
i am convinced there is no magic bullet
most forums die, and usually stay dead, this one died a couple times and was revived, sometimes thanks to strategic decisions i made.
for example: when i allowed btt users to teleport, there was a huge disagreement in the forum, and it lingered a long time, but it did pay off with reviving the forum from death.
sometimes thanks to huge efforts done by our forum team (i specially point to mbah) who brought bounties and convinced bounty managers to launch here.
In general we are always at the mercy of some project giving money for users to be active.
My bet is to reach some of these 600 million users, and hopefully we'll have new blood joining, users that would stick around when bounties dry up.

I am open to feedback and criticism, but trust me on this one.

scroller took me a weekend to make it work properly, then 4-5 days to actually get it to work on the site.
For the simplest of the requested features, i will have to block a month, and might not even work.

That was really a very good decision, which made all of the current boom possible.

integration is an objective, but as i said 365 has an objective to bring certain types of users, thus even without integration 365 is valuable as it already is.
no project starts by flying, it will take time to get the needed momentum.

also for news part, it won't be that important to integrate, as the vast majority of users are probably not qualified to write news posts. And last thing you need is posts about some airdrops that you can get by following a referral link

I therefore request that whatever things that are to be implemented in this forum, mobile users should be considered. Some things are messy already, adding to them will be annoying. I believe in improvement and here has been in improvement streak since after teleporting from BTT

Personally, I don't have an issue with the addition of the news ticker. It looks fine on PC but I also don't like how it resets to the beginning when you press play after hitting the pause button. I was expecting it to continue from where I stopped.

the mess is related to css cached on the mobile device,
how does it look ? does it look like the photo i posted ?
