The lowest point of btc is hard to predict, so in my opinion if you are targeting 80k$ then btc at a price of 60k$ or below is good enough to buy because if you buy at a price of 58k$ you can get enough profit in my opinion
and for the price of 80k$ itself, it will definitely be possible to pass if a bullrun is created,
You are right, the profit part depends on buying Bitcoin. But especially to make a profit by investing in Bitcoin, you have to think long-term. The way the demand for Bitcoin is increasing, it can be estimated that Bitcoin will reach $80k very soon. If you can buy Bitcoin now according to the current market price of Bitcoin and hold it for a long time, then you can definitely achieve something good from Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not a currency that will disappear, so I think the perfect time for you is when you are ready to buy Bitcoin.
In my opinion, thinking long term is not always the key to make profit. It's true that you can make profit if you can hold Bitcoin for a long time but it's still depends on trader what way he should do. Sometimes selling when you see the price is dumping and buying when the price is increasing is good way to make more profit. We don't know how long will the price go deeper, that's why.

Long term holding is always the safest choice if we don't have time to trade. Buying when the price goes down and selling when the price goes up to make a profit is the basic principle in investing.
It all seems easy but in reality if we do short term trading it is very difficult to do.

I don't think that long term holding is the safest choice because the market prices will not always going up. If you look at the price of Bitcoin way back November 2022, from $68k it went down to $17k, so for me it's not the safest and it's also time consuming, if the time has come you badly needed the money you are force to sell it at loss.

For me, the safest is to sell all your assets when the market cycle comes to an end. There are four phases of market cycle: accumulation, advancing, distribution, and declining. If you know that we are in the distribution phase then that's the time to sell because declining will be next. And that time we don't know how deep the price will be.

It is well known that the price of bitcoin is rising on the expectation that trump will take this digital currency friendly policy after taking office. Mainly because donald trump took a strong position in favor of cryptocurrency during the election campaign, its price is up. I'm not excited about buying bitcoin while it's going up. Because I already got a big profit from Bitcoin. But there is a peak that bitcoin price will run to $100k. Moreover, after trump comes to the white house then we will get more good news about crypto. Bitcoin is already beyond its current ATH and has the potential to pump more prices in the future, so accurate information can be obtained through research before your investment.

As a regular futures trader, seeing BTC hit $60K was exciting, but I think we'll still have a pullback before the next bull run.

In the meantime, I plan to take full advantage of the current market. Does anyone have ideas on how to maximize profits during this period?
First of all 80k was a our potential prediction but us electron broke all prediction and push bitcoin price is huge. Btc price now more then $90k and it will hit $100k very quickly as i predict. not only me many are now predicting btc price will reach $100k in this year. maybe December 2024 will be a memorable record for Bitcoin and early 2025 will correction period for btc

I don't think that long term holding is the safest choice because the market prices will not always going up. If you look at the price of Bitcoin way back November 2022, from $68k it went down to $17k, so for me it's not the safest and it's also time consuming, if the time has come you badly needed the money you are force to sell it at loss.
Indeed. The prices of crypto coins don't always rising. There is the time for a dump or decreasing a lot. According to 4 years cycle, there are 2 years for decreasing time for crypto coin prices. If we don't understand the cycle of crypto prices, it will be very risky to hold a long time. So, holding a long term will be safer if we understand the cycle and we hold trusted coins (BTC, ETH, ADA, etc).

For me, the safest is to sell all your assets when the market cycle comes to an end. There are four phases of market cycle: accumulation, advancing, distribution, and declining. If you know that we are in the distribution phase then that's the time to sell because declining will be next. And that time we don't know how deep the price will be.
Yes, it will be safe if we sell the coins when it is still in bullish season. Anyway, these phases includes in 4 years cycle. We need to learn the cycle and understand the potential of every coin for holding a long term. This will optimize the chance for profits and can prevent from the potential losses.
